Leaky and harsh
I'm giving them one star because they're so eco-friendly... but as diapers, they're awful. I've tried using them four times now and they leak (and I mean everywhere) every single time!! On top of that they're just plain uncomfortable. They're very papery with no give anywhere and they rub against my babies legs. Was really optimistic, but left very disappointed. Bamboo Mature diapers are 100 times better!!!

These are the BEST! Why...
Why doesn't Amazon stock them now? They are on an unknown when or if it will be in stock! Why doesn't Amazon offer them in cases with the 15%-30% discount?Who of us can compost our diapers? Maybe very few; but 100% biodegradable has still got to be way better than even Nature Babycare's, which are only 60% biodegradable, and the rest of the "eco-friendly" diapers, who can only claim that they don't put dioxins into the environment (not biodegradable at all!).Not only that, these diapers fit well; I can use them on my pudgy 1 year old or as a night diaper on my very skinny 5 year old (both kids weigh almost the same!). They feel sturdy. I have never had a leak. But they are expensive. Amazon could do an environmentally friendly thing by offering the 15-30% discount on them by offering them as subscribe&save products.Whatever, I cannot think of anything I don't like about these diapers.

Misleading Add???
The diapers are great but I only received half of what I believed I was ordering.

Leaks!
I read all the great reviews and was exited to try these ( yes I do get exited about diapers :) ) I got toddler size for my 21.5 lbs 9 month old.It was disappointing to find these leak. I tried one overnight - got a major leak out of the leg. Then i had a leak when my LO was laying on the side in the bed with me - had to change the sheets :(I also was not happy about non stretchy tabs - but i knew that before i got these diapers and if i had no leaks - it would not bother me as much.I loved the cute packaging and nice "wood" smell these diapers had ( compared to earth's best, that had a terrible machine oil-like stink)I i actually love the all white no prints design.I did finish the whole package, but would not buy again.

Diapering Delight
These arrived and seemed huge - and it's true, they come up higher than other diapers in this size range. The top part, however, can be folded down when your baby's in the smaller size range, and I've never had a blowout in these. They also don't leave marks on my daughter's legs like the 7th Generation diapers do. We've been cloth diapering during the day, disposable diapering overnight (her skin seems to be sensitive to the extended period of contact - imagine that!), and I feel best about these: her skin didn't get red, they're compostable, and they have fewer of the questionable (or downright bad) ingredients of traditional diapers.I'd highly recommend trying them...if Amazon were still selling them. BRING BACK THE DIAPERS! I WANT TO BUY MORE! And I second the other reviewer: add them to the discount program. They're great diapers!

"green" doesn't always mean "good"
We gave these diapers a fair shot. Being eco-practical (not eco-maniacal!), we like to do things that are better for the environment, but without sacrificing good functionality. Broody Chicks are not where it's at. I recommend the Bambo Nature diapers Bambo Nature® Eco-Friendly Baby Diapers - Size 3 - Midi - Fits 11 to 22 lbs - 56/Bg over the other eco-disposables because their fit, feel, and performance are right up there with the premium regular brands. So back to Broody Chick. Broody Chick diapers are fairly soft, yes, I'll give them that. The fit is decent, but here's the rub: they don't stretch at all, so there's no give. Also making adjustment tough is the fact that the tabs lose their grip if you re-fasten them more than once to get the diaper squarely on a squirmy baby. So if your kid doesn't ever wiggle on the changing table, then this will be fine for you. And you've got a weird kid. Anyway. As far as absorbency, I hope your kid doesn't pee overnight, because these diapers won't go 5 hours without urine soaking through. And forget about poo. Unless it is a perfectly formed little puck, your average baby poo is going to breach containment. Another drawback we found is the entire diaper being white, with no picture or marking to discern front from back, which makes it easy to get it backwards--especially when changing diapers at 3am feedings while we were total sleep-deprived zombies. Not a huge issue, but aggravating when you're exhausted. So in short, these diapers are great if you're just super crunchy and all you care about is the fact that they'll break down in your compost heap (why are you composting human waste at home, you freak? #1 or #2, doesn't matter-- it's not okay) then these are great. If you're tossing them in the garbage, btw, you'll need to get biodegradable trash bags or else your purchase of these overpriced and underperforming biodegradable diapers will be for naught. These are not worth it. Get the Bambos and thank me later. Bambo Nature® Eco-Friendly Baby Diapers - Size 3 - Midi - Fits 11 to 22 lbs - 56/Bg
