Works like a charm. This appears to be very well built. I feel like I bought direct from the source in China for a fraction of the price someone in the US would have resold me the same part. Shipping was faster than the guarantee, but still long if you are accustomed to Prime. Maybe this is what they all do, but I was impressed that the "Detector Position" sticker is not something else you have to buy - the lock will not engage unless the strike plate is in place (so you can't accidently prevent the door from closing).

I use it on a swinging door that people kept forcing open. That door had the usual electromagnet style of maglock. After a few quick modifications to the door, the door can't be forced any longer. Also, the bolt doesn't drop back down immediately.

Very poor quality. Maybe enough to lock a toybox, but not the legit door lock. The bolt feels very climzy. If there will be a tiny bit of tention on the bolt it just wont detract. You can hond it with two fingers with no effort at all and it wont detract. This looks like actuator powered lock but all it is is selenoid that has extremely little torque on the bolt to retract.
