Does the job
This is a pretty good product, I’d decided to pain my shower tile but chose the wrong paint and wanted it gone. Left it on over night, next day it was easy to scrape. Applied to the rest of the shower room and use a scrubbing net and brush. Some areas I had to go in twice. I also had a bit of paint on the skin and that came off within a few minutes. So I think depending on the surface and paint layers outcomes will differ but overall the product does the job.

It needs to strip powder coat paint
I open up the bottle pored some out and painted it on came back about 20 min latter it didn't do anything. I new it wouldn't work back to the grinder and wire brush I pored the cup back in the bottle and I remembered didn't shake it up so I shook it and poured some out looked different painted some on the frame went inside to get a drink came back out and the paint was all wrinkles and falling off. I am sold it worked great I still had to do some wire brushing but what a time saver. It cleaned the frame all the way to bare steel. It made the hard to get areas like joints easy. The key to this product working is shake it up and you will save so much time and energy. Thanks for a great product.

It does what it claims but the time required detracts from the value
This does what it says it does. That being said it has pros and cons.Pros are that it works well in stripping multiple layers of old paint, including paint that contains lead. I selected this product in searching for a dust free solution to remove 12-15 layers of 100+ year old paint from this door and frame as safely as possible and it did get the job done. It did not create a sticky mess as did other paint strippers and it does clean up with water. You DO have to CLOSELY follow directions. This result required two THICK coats over two days with a partial removal in between. I used a stiff putty knife and a multi blade paint scraper to get it off.The cons - it took a LOT of work - about 12 man hours total to get this result. Granted there is a lot of detail inlaid trim that required extra attention, but it still required a lot of scraping. It was NOT as easy as the description made it seem. Also, because it is water based and it contains acid, no matter how careful I was it resulted in damage to the wood; there were tons of peelings and splinterings and curlings as a result of the softening the product caused so be careful how you use it. Also I would advise covering each application with taped plastic to hold moisture in to prevent evaporation; it dispersed into the air quickly which caused me to use more than I would have liked. I used 2/3 of a gallon just on this one door, making this an expensive option for extensive projects. I need to strip about 100 sq ft of trim in the same room and due to the cost I will not likely be using this product considering the cost and man hour factors. I can accomplish the same results with a paint removing heat gun for far less cost and time in good ventilation and still have a heat gun when I am done.Over all, I can give it 4 stars because it does do what it claims but I have to withhold a star because it is just too time and money consuming for the end result.

Drip-free it is not, but it works
I give this a 3.5 out of 5. I am a big fan of Sunnyside Multi-strip, but I wanted something faster. I tried Jasco and Klean Strip's "safer" strippers, but they smelled awful and barely took off 1 layer. So, I tried this one. It is faster, but it is not nearly as thick as the other Sunnyside strippers, so it does not "cling" to vertical surfaces. I think it would be a lot better on a horizontal surface, but I am working on a door frame. Because it is not drip-free, the coverage is not even; lower sections that caught drips showed more progress than sections closer to the top. What I started doing was covering the stripper-brushed areas with wax paper to "hold" the stripper in place, which seemed to help. The stripper does stay wet longer, as I noticed areas where I had stripped last night were still a little wet this morning without the wax paper. Again, it does work, and I will use it, but unlike its fellow Sunnyside stripper products, it's penchant for dripping does not make it the best option for vertical surfaces. However, it does make it possible to strip in 4 hours instead of the normal 8 hours for the multi-strip.
