Jambo 16-Inch Silver Star Glitter Lamp I Beautiful Liquid Lamp I Entertaining for Adults and Kids I Perfect Holiday Gift

So I bought my daughter one of these as a replacement for one she bought and was nonoperational. Hers looked great right out of the package. The liquid was a clear pink. We have been using it every day for three days and it's perfect. Seeing how much I liked it my husband encouraged me to buy one for myself. I just opened the box and the blue liquid is very cloudy. Can't see through it at all. It doesn't look like the pictures posted by other customers. I'm heating it up for the first time now and keeping my fingers crossed. I was really looking forward to this. If it clears up I will update my review. If not I'll contact the seller and hopefully they can help me like they did their other customers who had the same issue. It didn't work. The wax melted and started moving but the liquid is so cloudy I can barely see the wax. I returning it and getting a replacement sent. I'm trying to not get my hopes up. At least my daughter's lamp works well.Edit: The defective lamp was picked up and the replacement delivered literally the day after I posted my review. They even offered me a full refund even though I had already gotten the new one. Can't ask for better customer service. The last picture is the replacement lamp. Looks so cool 😎

This design is so retro with a more modern appearance than those from the original 60's-70's versions. We'd had these only one night, but love them as much as I knew we would. In my opinion, I'd thought the crystal-clear water version might have let off a bit too much light, so I opted for the color instead, and I'm happy I had. The colorful water ejects a soft glow that adds a whimsical ambiance to the room, plus provides less strain on the eyes since I believe I'll be looking at them constantly. Sooo relaxing.The lamp takes about an hour and twenty minutes to heat the wax inside, so a little bit of patience is needed for the lava to get going. I'm understanding the lightbulbs don't last that long, for which I'm including the Amazon link for replacement bulbs so there are no nights left without these fabulous lamps glowing for a single moment. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0859F2QHY/ . (R39 E17, 30 watt max). The three-piece assembly had taken about two minutes, and that included taking them out of the box and screwing in the bulb. Be prepared to spend hours and hours enjoying them.

Edit….Jambo reached out and refunded me plus some for the lightbulbs I had to purchase. It was quick, easy, and very much appreciated.The lamp arrived with a broken lightbulb. My son is deeply disappointed we have to wait an additional several days for the bulbs to come in so he can use his birthday gift. I’m frustrated I have to spend $10 more to get the lamp to work when I already spent $30. I would return it but no guarantee the next one won’t be the same way and I don’t want to wait.

Opened the box and plugged the lamp in and could immediately tell the water was very cloudy. I hoped it would clear after a few hours of being on but it didn’t. There is good action with the lava rising and falling but unfortunately you can barely see the lava through the cloudy water.I’ll be returning it.Update: I received a replacement from the company and it is just as cloudy as the first one. I’ve added two pictures of the replacement lava lamp. Downgraded my rating to 1 star after giving them a chance to correct it and they did not. There are pictures in other reviews that show clear liquid in the blue/purple lava lamp. However, when I took both the lava lamps out of the boxes, they were obviously cloudy and did not improve once turning them on. So it would seem the company is knowingly shipping cloudy lava lamps.UPDATE:Upgraded my review to 4 stars because of the customer service from the company. The first lamp was cloudy, I initiated an exchange through Amazon, and the 2nd lamp was just as cloudy. Jambo contacted me after my review was posted, requested pictures, and immediately shipped another lava lamp that had clear liquid and said they would contact Amazon to look into quality control/shipping issues. The new lamp looks and works great. I’m impressed with the company and their desire to correct the issue. I would definitely buy again from them.

My kids are 13 and 6 and they both super love them, but unfortunately 1 of the lamps completely failed internally in less than 45 days. The spring at the bottom that helps shape the "lava" popped loose as seen in the picture and now they either don't form at all or are completely unrecognizable and almost scary shapes that it creates.I have not once let them run for more than 8 hours at a time and always a cooldown the rest of the day while my kids are away, so it was not for my neglect. They've also never been moved or tampered with since first plugged in (yes, I trust my 6yo in this as I made it quite clear she'd break it if not get mildly burned while it was on as well).So 50% of the product was a complete dud and disappointment AND I let the seller know but have not heard anything back so am out the money less than 15 days after the 30 day window.Great product when it's working and my son loves his, but my daughter's was a complete fail. 1 of 2 of a product does not equal 2.5 stars, especially when it only took 40 days for it to die. 1 star it is and I'm sad the seller simply didn't respond to me to correct this.

Purchased for my 6 year old grandson. He really likes it. Was as described. Built well, and the light works great! He uses it at night. Does not get hot on the outside like traditional lava lamps.

I received the blue/purple lava lamp and noticed it looked a little off. It was cloudy, the liquid wasn't clear, didn't look as advertised, and in general looked bad. I contacted the manufacturer and they quickly deduced the lamp was defective/damaged in transport. After apologizing for the defective lamp they promptly sent me a replacement. The whole process was quick and easy. The customer service rep was very friendly and eager to right the problem. The new lamp arrived a few days later and was exactly as advertised and looks great.

Absolutely love this glitter lamp. It reminds me of 1994 when my parents bought it for me when I was 13 years old lol it’s very pretty, but don’t keep it on for a super long time as it tends to overheat.

I bought this lava lamp for my boyfriend. At first it took a really long time to heat up and the “lava” was stuck to the bottom. A little flip upside down and it started separating. We absolutely love it! It is so cool and the colors are vibrant and really pretty. Takes a little while to heat up but once it starts going it really is awesome!
