Does it do well with removing eye makeup? Does it sting or hurt your eyes?

I don't really wear eye makeup but this does a great job at removing face makeup and I would not have any hesitation using it to remove eye makeup. I also use the face oil around my eyes rather than using a separate eye cream at night.

Is this product usda certified organic at least 95 percent

The USDA Organic Seal is on the label. It doesn't indicate the percent organic.

Do we have to wash the oil off after applying or can we leave it on?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you should wash it off, but not by just splashing water on your face. If you're using the face cleansing oil, you should apply it to dry skin and massage it in to your face/neck. I even use it to massage over my eyes to remove mascara and eye makeup.

Then take a pretty warm washcloth and place it over your face and hold it there for a few seconds. Then use the wash cloth to wipe away the oil, taking care to use different areas of the wash cloth that are clean as you wipe the oil away from your face. The idea is that the oil in the cleanser attracts the oil and dirt from your skin. So the warm wash cloth helps open your pores and wipes away the oil and dirt from your skin. I only splash my face after I've wiped everything with the wash cloth.

Badger Damascus does make separate products that are called 'moisturizing oil.' I have one that is in a smaller bottle than the cleaner. Another is green like olive oil and is more of a thicker oil that comes in a jar. AFTER you cleanse and wipe away the debris, then once you pat your face dry you can apply one of those as moisturizer. I believe they have different oils in the different products.

What is the proportion of olive, jojoba and apricot oils?  These are high oleic and may cause breakouts.
