The MusicNomad products are high quality. The neck cradle has a soft rubbery finish that prevents guitars from slipping and sliding while working on them. It doubles as a tool holder cup. The mat is very non slip.

Very nice pad , easy to clean . Stays in place . Didn’t realize the neck support was rubber coated so that was a little bonus.

It’s a simple setup mat with a shaped plastic cube to rest the guitar head on. But it’s also a quality product. You can flip that cube to rest different parts of your instrument on it, or turn it around to increase the height slightly. It will even serve as a tool or pen holder when not being used as a guitar pillow. The mat is made from a good piece of rubbery material that will protect your guitar and your table. It’s no longer than it needs to be and comes with a band to keep it rolled up, which also makes it easy to carry around. There may be some confusion for passers by thinking you’re off to a yoga class, but that’s not for you to worry about. When using the mat and pencil/tool/guitar head rest and holder together, it becomes the perfect easy to use space for tinkering and setting up your guitar, achieving everything you hoped it could be and do. It works well. MusicNomad always offers good quality products at a price I always think is a little steep, but you know it will do the job and do it quite well, so there’s trust in that, rather than running off to some random unknown brand and being disappointed. Which I have done and it scratched my guitar, so that will teach me not to stray.
