I'm a server, will this help any kitchen environment where nonslip shoes are required?

I'm not happy with it after two days of drying I put my shoes on and they picked up every hair and dirt partical then when I reached the tile floor I slid out the door.

It leaves a rubber type surface. Most helpful in slippery, icy conditions.

Will this work on knit slipp sock for kids and on runs that like to slip all over including big ones?

I don't really understand your question, but if you want to know if you can put this stuff on socks? No--that would not be recommended..they are for the bottom of sneakers to grip the floor. It worked very well for my son's basketball sneakers last season.
