Had this almost a month now. Owned several different bark collars in the past and I like this one the best. Setup was easy. Also doesn't seem to bother the dog to wear it all day. Good value. You have to recharge it every 3 or 4 days which isn't bad, it charges from USB port in a couple hours. It has a beep then vibrate function and a beep, vibrate, shock mode which gets stronger if it keeps getting set off.Cons: Doesn't have the option to vibrate once or twice before the shocks kick in. It will shock on the first and every other bark until the safety kicks in and takes a break. At least it starts low and gets stronger if the dog keeps barking which is good. My dog has not set this off more than twice in a row so i don't know how strong it gets but that's actually awesome. He likes to bark at basically any noise from outside and it's hard to sleep, neighbors complain, etc.Sometimes it will go off randomly when the dog is asleep and not making any noise that I could hear, but he doesn't move so maybe it's not making contact, or it's weak enough to not bother him much. Possibly he's triggering it with some quiet dream barking and having enough vibration in his throat, he does all kinds of things in his sleep lol.. Other times he barks or growls and it doesn't beep or anything, so I might have to tighten it but regardless it has helped the dog bark less and I dont want it too tight because he has to wear it all day and night because he never misses a chance to bark.If I take it off he barks more, he understands how it works. He even growls in times he would normally bark, he keeps just quiet enough to not let the thing trigger. My dog is not very smart at all and he figured this thing out, but that's OK for me as long as he doesn't figure out how to take it off and eat it.I recommend to buy 2 if you use this a lot and don't have time to wait for it to charge if you forget to charge it on your own. I did not notice any way to tell how low the battery may be other than the light turning off when it's completely dead.

The media could not be loaded.  What a game changer. Used this for the first time on 12/31, and we were so happy with this product. Our dog is overall behaved except when in the car driving on the side streets (he hates when the car stops, or when we’re backing up) or when one of us gets off the car, or when we both leave him (together) at home. He gets anxious and barks a lot and loudly. When we first used this collar, it only activated twice, and from then on, he maintains quiet when he wears the collar. We have only used the beep-vibrate mode and didn’t even have to use the beep-vibrate-shock mode. Because of this collar we’ve had a very peaceful road trip, and we’re able to leave him at home on a date night. This really is a game changer, and highly recommended. I even recommend this to my neighbor, and their dog’s barking has stopped. I waited for a month to review this product as I want to see how effective this collar is. Very effective!!! Love this product. My dog is now relax in the car and when alone.

The media could not be loaded.  I was hesitant to even purchase a no-bark collar but our dog incessantly barks and this solution was recommended by a few people. Having never used a shock collar before, I was expecting very clear instructions for this device. The "manual" (one sheet of paper) shows the parts included and how they fit together but doesn't walk you through each step clearly. It does describe how to test the shock - which I did and it HURT! I bought this collar because it lists having 2 different modes - if it lights up with a green indicator light, it will use noise and vibration. If the light is red, it will use noise, vibration, and then shock. There is NO WAY to get it to use only the noise and vibration. IT'S SIMPLY NOT AN OPTION, even though it is described as such in the user's manual. I bought this particular brand purely on referral from another dog owner, so I didn't read through the negative reviews as I do for nearly everything else.I have read through the 1-star reviews that also mention this defect, and how STRONG the shock is. Our rescue dog suffers from anxiety and meds were not the answer. The no-bark collar was our "Hail Mary" to try and manage her behavior but I can't, in good conscience, put this collar on her when the shock is so intense with no option to only have vibration and sound.Lastly, I do not trust all of the 5-star reviews since the company includes a $20 Amazon gift card bribe to give them a 5-star review. How is this ethical? Especially on a product like this that could cause harm to a dog. Returning this today.

I'm not sure I like how these things work--a set of loud warning beeps to TERRIFY your pup a few seconds BEFORE it shocks them--but I can't deny that they work. We have two German Shepherds and, with the first dog, it only took about twenty minutes wearing one to cure him of his barking for attention pretty much for life. The other dog still barks sometimes but it's only because I don't have the heart to do the same thing to her (plus she mainly barks OUTSIDE--probably because she KNOWS I'll put it on her if she barks inside). For the first dog, whenever he (briefly) relapses, all I have to do is SHOW him the collar and he shuts up. Did I mention the collars also go off when the dog WHIMPERS from the pain they cause? My dogs are almost always silent now, even when they are rolling around on the floor play fighting. These things work, but GAWD(!) they're brutal.

I have 3 dogs ranging from 40 to 100 lbs. This collar is wonderful when it works. It's hit or miss. They often turn off unexpectedly. I check each dog before they go out and about 50% of the time they're quiet as soon as they hear a beep. The other 50% the collars turn themselves off. I intended to exchange one for a new one, but the dogs chewed it up. Lol. Overall our life has improved greatly and my dogs learned quickly. I wish it was more consistent but depending on your situation it's decent.
