It's not clear from the product description that this runs on 110V so can't be used with UK 240V. A basic adaptor won't work for this product.However, it arrived promptly, it's light, and looks easy to use. I would have very much liked to have used it.I asked for a return and refund and this was dealt with promptly. There was a bit of confusion because I didn't use the correct return label meaning there was a delay in getting my refund. However, once I raised it with the vendor it was all sorted very quickly and with good grace (especially as the delay was my fault!)

I was smeeling something bad in the house not able to figure out what is was until I looked at my feet warmer.it was melting and almost melt my floor mat in fire.I tried to contact the company but they did not reply to me.

Max heat reaches a good heat level for my feet. Not quite as hot as their other heat pads but still good. The product is quite light so I find it moves around a bit if my feet shuffle around. The legs feel a bit flimsy like they'll collapse inward but it hasn't happened to me yet even though I've read in some reviews that it has. I've only had for 2 months but very happy with it so far.Update 17 OCT 2019.I purchased this back in March 2019. Used it for March and April (2 months), then again from mid September to mid October (1 month) and it has completely stopped working. For perspective I use it about 3-4 h per day on the LOWEST power setting. I use it from my chair so no real weight on it. Now only the light comes on but it no longer heats.Given the $65 price this is terrible lifetime. I will exercise my warranty to try to eek another 3 months out of this product so that its not a total waste. I will give the company benefit of the doubt, maybe I got part of a bad batch. Will update once I have heard back from them.

First, I bought the other heated foot rest on amazon, the Fellowes 8040901. Great height, but so noisy because of the fan, the same fan that broke after <1year, and very hard to replace (DC server fan style), already in the trash. This one, on the other end, the Cozy TT footrest, is much better. No fan, no noise, great heat BUT, the legs are terrible, I'm thinking of gluing them in place! And no real convinient height adjustment. Overal satisfied but, still not the perfect product

My office admin is using this under her desk. We both have cold feet in the office even with the temperature in the office set at 74. First I tried a panel heater for her and she didn't find it helped at all. So the next step was this heated foot rest. She loves it and has been using it for a couple of months now.I moved the panel heater to my desk and I'm finding it works for me so I'm sure it boils down to how cold are you? The foot rest definitely gives off more heat than the under desk heater panel.
