Wide rope makes for easy learning and winch is great for set up
I had first been introduced to slack lining a few years ago. I saw some people doing it again recently and wanted to have my own for anytime use but wasn't sure if I had the knowledge necessary to use the 5 carabiners and rope trick that I had been exposed to.Looking online I found several different packages, but eventually chose this one because it came with a winch, seemed durable, and also had a very convenient carry case. I am very pleased with this purchase. The line is not too thin that it's hard for beginners (which I most definitely am), and the winch makes for very simple and easy set-up and take down, but also the necessary tightening in-between when the line stretches a bit. The carry case also makes things simple because this is a lot of line to carry around and now I don't have to worry about it getting tangled or having to find a plastic bag to stick it in.Definitely recommended for beginners (just be sure to set it close to the ground!) and those looking for an easier way than carabiners.

We have not been able to try this out as it is a Christmas gift but it looks fun. Prompt delivery!

works great and looks good
nice heavy duty feeling line and ratchet. easy set up and take down. its does fray a little but that is to be expected and does not reduce the strength. would recommend

Scary and Hard to do but great quality
Very difficult to do. Have to say, even w instructions it's difficult to configure. Wasn't too bad for my husband, as he's familiar w heavy duty tie down straps w same type mechanics. My child (13) can't walk on it much without holding a friend's shoulder, but great to help w core strength and balance. I've tried walking on it several times, but am scared I'll fall off and twist my ankle (I'm not 13 anymore!!! 50). Nice quality overall but wish it had "tree saver" area so as to not "hurt" the trees we suspend it between.

Lacerated strap
Received item damaged, the line itself was cut by something that caused it to melt some form of laceration. Wouldn't trust standing on it and lasting as a quality product. I suggest if buying to inspect quality of the straps.

Too wide a slackline. Better to rig your own setup
I got into slacklining with some climbing hobbyists, and they just rigged a setup with some webbing and a few carribeaners. I got this when I moved away but wanted to continue to slackline because I thought it would be an easier setup. However, this is NOT THE SAME.The slackline is actually twice as wide as a setup with normal webbing which makes it easier...but too easy for regular enthusiasts. The crank allows you to set it up easy by yourself, but I've found an easy way to rig a setup solo with some carribeaners fashioned in a pulley system as well. Also, I prefer to get webbing so you can make it as long as you like.Best slackline setup: Go buy something like 100 ft of webbing from an outdoors store like REI and 5 carribeaners. Use something to protect the trees and that will work much better than this product.
