Lucas Oil 10558 Slick Mist Detail Kit

I am a regular user of Lucas Oil products, both their auto detail products and their engine & fuel products. Lucas Slick Mist is my go to car detailer. I have tried MANY different brands, even some VERY expensive brands stating that they are "The Best" out there. I can tell you that from my experience Lucas Slick Mist is the best that I've found. I've been using in on my silver Jaguar XJR for many years and the paint still looks brand new. The nice coat of wax leaves the paint looking and feeling flawless. A couple of years ago I brought the Jaguar (which was my daily driver) to a British Auto Meet. The host of the event is a pro auto detailer. When he looked at my car he complimented me on what a great wax job I had done on the old Jaguar. Truth be told, I hadn't needed to apply a coat of wax in at least a couple of years because of the regular use of Slick Mist, but I didn't tell him that ;) Once you use this product on your car and have buffed it all out with a good quality micro fiber towel, just run the back of your hand over the paint. It'll be so smooth it will make you smile. Water beads like crazy when it rains. I also own two identical Mercedes GL550's. Both black. I use the Slick Mist on them as well and they look just as good, without any noticeable fine scratches. I think that dust doesn't settle as much on the cars after the Slick Mist has been applied. When dusty, I just use a good quality car duster and we're good to go. I also use Slick Mist on a lot of other things. Things like clear plastic and acrylics. Clear plastics look great after detailing with this spray. The Slick Mist doesn't scratch the plastic during the cleaning & detail process, and it keeps dust and dirt from sticking to it. I have a lot of acrylic display pieces and this stuff keeps it all looking like new! As I've been remodeling my garage I've been adding more black tool boxes and cabinets. Being in the garage they get dirty. I've found that using Slick Mist keeps these tool cabinets looking great. Yeah, I am a bit of a perfectionist, but I am certainly the right one to tell you about Slick Mist ;) I stay on top of my car care. I clean up messes as they develop and my cars all look immaculate. It's been pretty easy to keep them that way with Lucas Products. The tire dressing and the interior detail spray in this kit are also top notch. I really like the foam tire dressing sponge. I use it exclusively with this product. The dressing stays on pretty well, even in the rain here in the Pacific Northwest. The shine is just right. Not too shiny and not too dull. Keeps the tires looking great. The interior detailer does a great job and is not "greasy" like some products. Just nice clean and conditioned leather, wood, and plastic surfaces. I have been a huge fan of Lucas Oil Products for several decades and I am sure that I will be for a few more. I highly recommend these products.

El car care kit de LUCAS, llegó en excelentes condiciones y el precio una ganga. Cuando lo vendían en AutoZone el puro speed wax (botella azul) costaba un poco más de 200 pesos y por este kit te dan el speed wax, el interior detalier y el tire and trim shine por un poco más de 450 pesos, todos de 710ml. Además, incluye un paño de microfibra y un aplicador para el abrillantador de llantas. Por experiencia he utilizado el speed wax y es de los mejores sprays de cera que he aplicado a mi carro ya que es sencillo aplicar y quitar, dejando un brillo sorprendente y duradero.

I love the slick mist spray wax (touch-up, but I use it as a main wax). I thought I'd give the rest a try since I was really lacking in the microfiber towel department. I was super happy with the wheel cleaner. The interior cleaner worked well, but it was the tire and rim and regular slick mist wax that really sold me on this kit. (To me the interior one and the towel were the bonus for buying the two together). All in all I got two full car details out of the kit, with a bit of tire cleaner left over.

This is a fantastic detailing kit as firstly, the speed wax is easy to use needing just a light spritz per panel to achieve excellent results. Just use a good microfibre towel to wipe over and buff to a glossy, wet look shine. You can even use it in full sun as it wipes off first time and you don't get left with any smears or dried in product like other products leave. Once you've done buffing, it also makes your paint super slick making the next time you clean it really easy. This is a premium wax which also has a wonderful sweet smell which is quite intoxicating!!! Next the interior spray which is an excellent cleaner that picks up everything in its path such is the quality of the contents which also helps restore faded plastic, rubber and vinyl. I've used it on all hard surfaces inside the car and the results are superb. I also use it around the house as it's fantastic on leather, wood, plastic and glass. On to the tire and trim shine and it's just as good at doing its job as the other two do theirs. Just a light spray onto clean tires and a light rub using the tire sponge and it leaves a really high shine which is the best I've ever seen which also lasts weeks and weeks before having to apply again. It's just as good on the trim and wheels, bringing them back to life in next to no time. The sponge applicator and included microfibre towel are also made of good, strong, quality materials that are welcome additions to my collection of detailing products. The reasonable cost of the kit makes it very good value for money as given the large amount in each bottle, each one will last me ages before having to reorder.
