I purchased this rotisserie for my Big Green Egg.It fits perfectly and works great. Combined with a basket purchased separately it makes the best chicken wings. Have used it to smoke a pork butt also. I recommend this product and will buy another one for the egg at my summer home.

I purchased this after waiting for Kamado Joe to make one that fit the Big Joe. I actually have a Big Green Egg XL - don't judge, KJ wasn't around when I bought this...but given the choice, I'd get a Kamado Joe hands down! It's definitely the better of the two! Back to the Joetisserie... This is an excellent addition to your Kamado or Egg. While they do amazing things other grills cannot, the only thing missing was a rotisserie - and Kamado Joe stepped up!The rotisserie is well built, and fits well inside the Kamado. It is wedge shaped, so the lid will lie flat on top of it. The motor appeared to be on the small side, but has plenty of torque to handle up to an advertised weight of 50 lbs. while I did not test it to capacity, I did a large roast that weighed just under 32 lbs. it handled that just fine. The motor will automatically reverse direction if something you did causes it to hang up. The hexagon shaped rod that comes with it is sturdy. It comes with two sets of forks for securing your meats, I.e., two separated chickens, if that is how you choose to do them. I've done two stacked together and had no issues. The forks are well made and not flimsy like other rotisserie sets I have used. The directions stated that there may be some slight "smoke" leakage between the lid and the base of the rotisserie. I did not experience this in the multiple times I have used it. I did recently replace the felt/nomex gasket, however, so this may have had an effect. Mine was leaking a little smoke prior to purchasing the rotisserie - I waited way too long to do this. The new gasket really made a difference in heat/smoke retention. I'll do that far more often now!If you already own a Kamado Joe or Big Green Egg, you know how well they work. Adding this rotisserie just adds one more cooking dimension to these incredible grills. The ability to control the temperature using the rotisserie for a long cook without burning the outside of the meat is a snap.Overall rating on the Joetisserie? Five stars. Place it in your Kamado, slide the motor on, put your meat on, and away you go. Would I buy this again? Absolutely. Kamado Joe hit a home run with this accessory!

I got this for my Big Green Egg (Large) as an alternative to the much more expensive BGE version, which goes for about $450. The Joe version works really well on the BGE. I've just completed some dry-brined chicken with it. Fantastic taste, works as advertised. Note: I have a Rutland gasket on my BGE (i.e. slightly thicker than normal gasket on the base, no gasket on the dome). Because of this, there was a gap between the BGE dome and the Joetisserie. I solved it by adding a gasket to the top of the Joetisserie, which sealed up the gap nicely.

I have a large Big Green Egg. I bought this rotisserie because of the reviews and mostly the price. It is a perfect fit for my Egg. I have cooked once using the rotisserie and absolutely LOVE it. It works great. Getting ready for another cooking on Friday. The rotisserie is so much easier than conventional grilling. It is built heavy and will outlast me.

Fits Large like a glove. Great for wings and picania!

Got mine today and will test it out tomorrow with a chicken on my Large Big Green Egg. Unit fits simply on the egg and looks like I'll have a great seal. I do like that the steel rotisserie rod is a solid piece and not two shorter rods that screw together as with some rotisseries. Motor is very quiet.I was surprised that the box showed this rotisserie was made in China when the listing stated the country of origin was the USA.I will update this review after my trial run tomorrow.10/24/23- This unit worked great! Was going to buy a Big Green Egg rotisserie but those have been out of stock for some time. This unit fits my large BGE perfectly and was more than $100 less in price. Used FOGO charcoal, threw in some bourbon barrel smoking chips, put rub on the chicken and ran rotisserie until I had a 175 degree temp in the thighs. This unit worked perfectly and the chicken was delicious.

Fast delivery, great quality, super easy to put together! Got this for my husband for Christmas and I will say that the return on the investment has been paid off. The man loves this thing so much that if I was to divorce him tomorrow, I think his Kamado Joe and his Joetissery would be the only 2 things he would want to take with him! 😄. He has made some real delicious meals using this. Super versatile and easy to use.
