It works for at least eight hours. Very nice heat.I wish I had more adhesive on it, but it gets the job done on my neck

These are the greatest things since sliced bread! Although the name claims it’s for neck and shoulders, I use them on my lower back. Wish they were cheaper per use, but the generics out there don’t work as well and their adhesives don’t stick as well either.

ThermaCare strips have been part of my life for years. They’re great when you don’t have access to a heating pad. The Neck style is perfect for my lower back.

These heatwraps stand up to their advertising claims. Yes, they last 8 hours when applied to the skin (and the heat is deep but gentle, without any prickly sensation that some patches have) and yes, the heat lasts another 6-8 hours once the patch is off. No methol smell like other patches (I've tried most!) or creams. The downside is the price, so I use these when my pain is higher than usual. I have noticed, though, that the smaller Joint Wraps don't have the same heat power, nor last as long. Too bad as their size and maneuverability is a plus. I just make the neck ones work in other areas; they stay in place well. Going to try the back heatwraps next! These were a good find!
