Stabilo CarbOthello Arty Plus Chalk-Pastel Pencil 24-Pieces, Multicolor

These are an excellent set of pastel pencils. I initially picked these over the General's set because the colours on those looked a lot more muted, and I'm glad I made that decision. The colours are vibrant, and blend excellently. Lines are smooth and rich, and just having the ability to use pastels with the precision of pencil crayons is refreshing. The only negative I can think of is that the pink isn't as strong of a hue as it could be, at least compared to another pastel set I have. Other than that they do exactly what I need them to.

Carbotellos are highly underrated. They’re amazing pencils for beginners and those new to pastel, and a great part of the toolbox of more experienced artists who know when and how to utilize them to give their paintings a soft, ethereal feel. Love, love, love these pencils. They’re also sold open stock in El Maayergy where you can find a wider range of colors not necessarily available in boxed sets. I can’t live without their skin tone colors (the darker reds, beiges, pale yellows, light greens, soft and petal pinks, ochres and umbers). Would highly recommend. 10/10, no notes except sometime, rarely tho, the cores in some pencils can be defective but I’ve found that this is the case with most brands, including some high end ones. Nothing’s perfect but these are still a SOLID choice, and one of my all-time favorite pastels.

Erster Eindruck: Die Stabilo Pastellstifte wirken auf den ersten Blick sehr hochwertig und liegen angenehm in der Hand. Die Farben sind sofort als zarte Pastelltöne erkennbar, die optisch einen ruhigen und eleganten Eindruck machen. Farbverhalten: Beim Malen überzeugen die Stifte durch weiche, gleichmäßige Farbabgabe. Die Töne sind dezent, aber dennoch gut sichtbar und lassen sich wunderbar kombinieren. Es entsteht kein Kratzen, die Mine gleitet sanft über das Papier. Vermutlich liegt es auch daran, dass ich nebenbei laut Musik höre und es einfach nicht wahrnehme. Auch beim Schichten oder leichten Verwischen bleibt die Qualität stabil. Verpackung: Die Stifte kamen gut geschützt an – keine einzige Mine war gebrochen. Die Verpackung ist stabil und praktisch, sodass die Stifte sicher verstaut und einfach entnommen werden können. Fazit: Ein durchweg positives Erlebnis. Die Stabilo Pastellstifte sind ideal für alle. Sie sind hochwertig verarbeitet, farblich ansprechend und robust verpackt. Absolute Empfehlung!
