Beautiful art, but my cards arrive so bent
I loveeee the art in this deck, and the colors printed beautifully. It arrived promptly and the box was in excellent condition. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is that I was a little disappointed when I opened the box to find my cards noticeable warped/bent. Not sure if this is normal. I’m sure I will flatten them with time and love. Thank you for the new addition to my tarot practice 💖

One of my favorite decks ever! Daily use
I have a lot of decks, I don't often add one to my collection then immediately have it jump into my favorite and daily use stack. But this did. I was skeptical given the packaging and art style - which is far from my personal preference. But I've fallen in love with the same creators radiant sun oracle deck, and learned a bit about how these folks conceptualize of energetic story lines through using that deck often for details and clarification advice in my reading for folks so getting this deck, especially at this price, was an easy choice. I was blown away by the depth of this art. It is, as you may know, a deck reprinted from the early 90s. Art feels very reminiscent of Kieth herring. The lines and colors are vibrant, simple, and vintage feeling but the more you look, the more you see. It's extremely profound. I also enjoy immensely their approach to the traditional tarot story. Taking inspiration it seems from a pip style deck which leans heavily towards numerological interpretationa of suite cards, this deck reimagines just enough to inspire beginners and seasoned readers alike. The guide book is concise enough but dense enough, the excerpts and keywords for each card are spot on. The new naming associations as well as diety associations for each card are a wealth of symbolism. Not to mention the literal unique symbol language they out together for this deck is a special and hidden layer. I personally love the way these folks think about tarot. It's a logical system that feels fresh but ancient. I wish these folks got the recognition they deserve. This deck is a masterpiece and will remain an invaluable mainstay for my personal and professional divining.

LOVE this deck
I love this deck overall! The reason is has 4 stars is because the cards are bent so horribly I cannot get them to lay straight on a flat surface the top and bottom of the cards curl upwards. Other than that the material is great and they should last quite some time if I don’t ruin them while I shuffle. So I got this deck because I was drawn to the artwork. Generally I don’t care for bright predominantly primary colored decks. But I love this deck. The artwork isn’t overly complicated.I have had to take my time with this deck, I spent the first week trying to see if I could press the deck to the point of being flat. Thought about exchanging them, realizing the next deck may be exactly the same… but I love the straight forward “earth, air, fire water” suits and I’m slowly but surely working on memorizing the symbols. Some of these cards *to me* are confusing at first glance but the book is fantastic and I’m becoming increasingly more comfortable reading them.Overall I absolutely love this deck. Just wish the cards were flat.

Amazing and beautiful sturdy set of unique cards
These are great. They have a slight curve coming out of the box but that's fixable. The cards are very sturdy and have a glossy surface on each side. The artwork is so unique and eye-catching. I am only 6 months into learning tarot and find them nice and easy enough to use. With further study of the thick guidebook you can really take your readings into expanded places that connect astrology and elements and energies even. The images are intuitive and striking and don't follow RWS system. I recommend getting this together with a traditional deck like Radiant Wise Spirit or Llewlyn's Classic Tarot if you are a beginner. I only wish they included an explanation about the images and the deity listed on each card in the book. These can be researched on your own though. Either way its a great deck if it calls to you.

Almost useless.
This deck borders on useless to me. Firstly the deck arrived unopened, still in plastic wrap but the cards inside were in 2 groups, each severely warped/bowed. I can't get the bow out or get the cards to lay flat to each other. The decks is puffed out as no cards lay flat to the one next to it. Second, the book borders on useless. Many of the symbols are not explained, or the meaning is buried into other parts of the book making it labourious to look anything up. Granted with time and effort this could be overcome. Even the symbols on the cards will evolve and gain personal meaning as you use the deck. If this is the purpose of such vague descriptions, then state that. Otherwise if you are making a tarot deck that is its own system you need to explain that system and how you arrive at the associations. This deck does not do this. The symbology, astrological associations and even the god and goddess associations - none of it is explained as to why, or how they relate to the individual cards. Association without context. If the intent is to have a contemplative deck designed for the user to slowly acquire meaning over time, then you need to be upfront about this. If you are a Tarot initiate, you would be able to read using your associative skills or intuition but don't look to the book for much help - it isn't there. I don't know if it is the publishers or the artists/authors but all 3 decks of their trilogy (Radiant Sun Oracle, Moon Oracle and Elemental Tarot) suffer from the flaw of overly complex without full illumination. Amazing, symbolically rich art without any of context needed to understand them. Disappointing. There is depth here but I think is has been left out due to production limitations and values being too low.

Expanded information on card interpretations
The book included with this deck contains extra information on how to interpret the cards in readings. The card stock is good quality and the re-designed format for the cards is clear and easy to read. Some card interpretations are VERY different from Rider-Waite-Smith/Thoth inspired decks but the associations to astrology are very clear and amplify the cards meanings. This is my favorite Tarot deck.
