This TMJ pack is about as good as it gets for TMJ (which was caused to me by an endodontist. Its a long story - but don't ever allow anyone in the dental profession to override your wishes and give you injections twice in one week, as well as prolongedly having your mouth open twice in one week due to his own error of misjudgment!) Once i adjusted the velcro to fit me, I simply keep it that way, and alternatingly insert the little ice-packets as needed. I was also very relieved that there's no odor, as I'm chemical sensitive One thing I should add, those round little "bonus" packs that were thrown in were worthless to me. No sense in elaborating, but I'd advise you to just discard them.

I bought this for my daughter who was having all 4 wisdom teeth out. It fit great and I would highly recommend. It came with 2 sets of ice packs so one could be in the freezer while we were using the other set . Great for the 20 mins on and 20 mins off of ice as the dr suggested since both sides of the jaw could have ice in at the same time. Very satisfied !

This worked well for my son during his first 24 hours post wisdom teeth surgery. It fit his head comfortably and he was even able to nap with it still on! The ice packs get warm pretty quickly but you get enough that you can keep swapping them out.

My daughter had all four wisdom teeth out and this really did make things easier than holding ice packs and then heat packs to her face all day, like my son did a few months ago. I agree with those who say they don’t stay cold and more so hot quite as long as we would have liked, but they also froze up again pretty quickly, so it was easy to rotate as needed with the extra packs. The layer between pack and face is pretty thin, so you do really feel the hot and cold while it lasts, which was good After a week of regular use 4/5 packs are still in perfect condition. My daughter did make one spring a leak in the microwave - though the Instructions say to warm up in hot water, not the microwave, so that’s on us (though 20-25 seconds in the microwave was a lot easier than heating hot water first). Definitely recommend overall.

I received this product yesterday and I would love to give this product 5 stars but one of the gel packs bursted after I put it in the microwave for a few seconds. Overall it gets the job done but I wish it stayed warmer for longer. Is there a way a replacement gel pack can be sent out to me so I can rotate between hot and cold packs? Will update my review if replacement gel pack is sent out.

I loved this product because it was so easy to use, I didn’t have to hold an ice pack on my face for 24 hours after surgery. Surgery was rough on its own and the two sets of ice packs were awesome! One set would be in the freezer and the other one would be on my face and it was super helpful.

Absolutely made my life easier! Wish it stayed cold and got a bit longer. But they are small and do as they say so I can’t complain lol. Love how it has 4 to keep them rotating if needed. And the 2 eye ones are a cute plus!

This was perfect for wisdom teeth surgery, came with 4 rectangular ice gel packs and 2 circular smaller ones(that had dinos on them). They only last about 15-20 minutes but that’s as expected. They get cold fast. Worth the money.
