Product is very stable and remains consistent from first scoop to last. I use a pre-determined (calculated) measure for water changes and it consistently measures 12 degrees GH. When comparing price to others, it can’t be beat, especially with 3 lbs of product. Cannot say enough about Fritz products.

I'm using this in a 180 gallon African mbuna tank. I do 50% water changes weekly and add 2 tablespoons of this to keep my GH in the recommended range for Malawi cichlids. Love the large opening in the container so you can scoop out what you need easily. Comparing this to Seachem Rift lake salt, it is much cheaper per volume of product and the jar is so much easier to use. The large sized jar will last me well over a year. When I'm ready replace my Seachem Malawi buffer I will be buying the Fritz buffer also.

5 years of using on my wild caught Frontosa and they are healthy and going strong.

They give you a lot of this stuff, 3lbs to be exact. Looks like a protein powder jug. It's exactly the same strength as the seachem stuff but a way bigger container and to be honest it dissolves faster and the powder is finer. I have enough with this 3lb container to last a long time but when I run out I'll be ordering Fritz again.
