Has anyone used this to fuse blackout lining to store bought drapes?

Yes! I have 12 ft ceilings and therefore long blackout curtains. I used this product to shorten the ends and loved the result. It holds up really well when used exactly as directed.

Can I use this to shorten some blackout curtains I purchased? Is it a permanent bond?

Worked fine for my jean heams and have washed 2x since without fail.

Will this product work equally well on lighter fabrics? Looking for one tape rhat does it all.

I didn't like this product at all. I followed instructions but it simply did not work and I was not using it on heavy fabric.

Can I use this on lace ?

I did not and have not used it on lace but it is light enough and soft enough to do so.. I used mine on jeans and as light as it is it is strong. I did use it as well on my white shirt for sleeves, worked out nicely.

Great for DIY curtain panels.

I use this to make custom curtain panels at home- so easy to use, basically invisible once you put a hot iron to it, and super durable / great adhesion. I've only ever tested it with cotton and / or linen fabric, so not sure how it holds up to heavier weight fabrics. Great product.
