I didn't end up using this initially-- but two years on my lawn really needed de-thatching and reseeding so I put it out about two weeks ago. It covered a lot of ground with some left over. Nothing happened the first week but when it started raining, BOOM! I think every single seed germinated, it already looks so much better (than empty dirt) and I can't wait to see all the flowers next year! I will buy more for next time.

I planted these two years ago so this is a long term review. At first, the only seeds that took were in the sunny areas- I had tried to get something to grow in my low light areas but they didn’t thrive there. However, a year later, we had to take down the tree that was shading the yard and all the clover seeds that were planted the year previous, sprouted! I got excellent success with these. They covered maybe 1/4 of an acre with one bag spread thinly. The plants grew together and filled in most of the gaps. I came back to buy more to do the rest of the yard as I don’t have to mow the clover side which is fantastic! Good value- big bag! Good strong plants.

I've used it to fill in numerous dead patches around my yard the last 2 years. Bees love it. Once it's established doesn't require watering. The red and crimson clover only blooms if you let it grow long but the white clover is lower growing and blooms from May-Sept. We have retaining walls and mulch around most of our lawn so it doesn't spread to our neighbors yard.

This bag should last me forever!! I used the clover as a winter cover crop for my garden spaces. They grew quickly and brought some beautiful blooms when spring arrived. I’ve decided to leave a few patches of clover here and there around my yard. I see the baby bunnies are keeping my clover patches “mowed.” Yummy clovers for baby bunnies.

Grew like crazy fast in middle Florida during the dry season. Seems to be spreading and pushing out the burr weed in our little lawn.

Got exactly what was promised. I planted it before a couple of rainy weeks in a row, and it grew wonderfully. Pretty easy to spread

I was about to order a second round of this amazing stuff and realized I never left a review, so here goes: As promised, it sprouts fast and looks awesome. The tallest plants are about 4.5" and the coverage is excellent, plus it requires much less water than grass to keep looking great. I planted several bare areas in my backyard last fall, and about 3 weeks ago those patches exploded in beautiful red flowers! I've now started seeing some lighter red/dark pink and white popping up, too This stuff is also impressively tough. I have 3 dogs that play really hard and this has stood up to their crazy traffic. One of them has a grass allergy so hopefully this will help once I replace the rest of my grass. The only very minimal issue is that the wonderful clover fluffiness is surprisingly good at hiding dog poops lol. I can't recommend this stuff enough. Even the price is awesome.

Pro: most of this stuff sprouted super fast, is doing well in sun and shade, and is developing into a wonderful blanket of clover. Cons: feels like 1/3 of the seeds are not germinating. Lots of rains, lots of seeds clumping together on surface, then just never sprouting. I still ordered more to fill in another part of yard I'm doing clover on first to establish erosion control before I plop down some grass simply b/c this stuff sprouted so fast. I bought another clover seed in the past, and it seemed to take forever to pop. So, I was very pleasantly surprised to see this stuff taking off the first week. Just wish more of it would germinate. Maybe 1/3 is a type that's a late bloomer?
