Nice turn table with a incorrect dimension listed. This will most certainly not be a problem for you but for my use case it mattered. Thickness listed at 14mm - its actually 16mm. The 2mm discrepancy comes from the offset between the two rings to prevent the need for spacers. Unfortunately, that difference was problematic for me. But I can downsize to the 12" ring which is allegedly thinner but we will see. I was otherwise very happy with this turn table.

Bought the 20" commercial unit and installed it onto 28" turn table. The bearings were tight when spun so I sprayed some wd40 lightly onto the bearings while slowly turning it and sure enough the WD 40 improved the free spin significantly. I think that the grease used on the bearing is too thick and is used to help quit down the noise because the noise increased after spraying the bearings. However, the lazy susan table was not loaded with anything which I'm certain that loading the trays will help reduce the noise level. The table is also enclosed in a corner cabinet which while help as well. I would prefer to a loose tuning table than a stiff one so I am please with the modification I made. WD40 probably helped in that it is known to be a solvent type product so it probably reduced the viscosity or thickness of the factory grease when it was applied which seemed to be the issue when the turn table was initially rotated out of the box. I would buy this product again and recommend it for any turn table project. The turn table ring is also very well built with heavy-duty construction. Just make sure not to warp it when attaching it to a surface with screws. The ring would also work fine without screws because the silicon type feet grip surfaces well (as long as you free up the bearings as I did).

Looks like a pretty solid piece of hardware. Comes complete with round silicone bumpers - you can place it on a tabletop and put the top disc on and start using it. However, while the bottom ring can be screwed in place, there are no screwholes on the upper ring. For the application I have in mind, that's a non-starter.

Put this on the floor, preferably not carpet, on top of it put a 3/4" x 24" x 24" plywood square, then put your recliner on top of it. Now you have a swivel recliner without having to pay a lot extra, or settling for limited styles or colors. Nice, and creative, it works!

The glide is not as silky, but it works.
