THIS UNIT DOES NOT SOFTEN WATER.I TOOK MY CULLIGAN SOFTENER OUT AND PURCHASED THIS UNIT BECAUSE OF A FREINDS RECCOMENDATION. WOW DID I SCREW UP. I PULLED IT OUT AND I PURCHASED A NEW SOFTENER FROM A LOCAL SOFTENER COMPANY THAT JUST INSTALLED IT.AMAZING!!!!!!! THIS UNIT IS A TOTAL WASTE OF YOUR MONEY. IM SORRY IT DOES NOT SOFTEN WATER.. PERIOD..

Does not remove salt at all. False advertising. It’s an extremely expensive water filter that’s all. And nothing more. But believe the advertisements. For half the price go buy yourself a 6 step reverse osmosis water system. Lack of customer service from 3rd party seller is a joke.

Installed July 29th and the first thing we noticed was the water quality! Perfect! 2nd we noticed that our hot water is much hotter that it used to be and doesn’t take long for hot water to come from faucets like it did before. Must be because the heating element in the water heater doesn’t have the build up from our old salt softener.The water doesn’t seem hard at all and no drying of the skin.I can’t comment yet about the build up on faucets since it’s only been about 30 days. So far VERY pleased with this purchase.

I live in the country with a well that has hard water. I found out this system will only work if you have very minimal hard water. I contacted Brenden at NuvoH2O and he said your water must be below 428 TDS. Mine water is 609 TDS. It was a waste of my time to install this snake oil of a system. Also when I think of soft water I want that smooth feeling when using soap in the shower- this system will not do that. This product is a joke! YOU HAVE NOW BEEN WARNED- BUY AT YOU PERIL!

Works great and lowered my hard water level. Nice to be able to drink right from the faucet. Skin feels softer after a shower.

The plastic fittings are a real problem for leaks and breakage.

After a week the scale and stains have disappeared in the showers and toilets. Water tastes exceptional and no slimy feeling like salt based softeners.

This product doesn't work - will be removing and replacing with a salt type water softner. The company says it should work & will do nothing since they claim it is not a mfg defect - it is due to our water being too hard but there was no guidelines for testing prior to buying. Take a look at one of our faucets.
