Carlson Pet ProductsExtra-Tall Flexi Gate

I'm new to all these products but Carlson has got to be the worst I've had so far, this is the second product I tried of theirs, similar to the Regalo line, I thought it would perform just the same but man is that plastic cheap, I saw a lot of complaints about this product arriving broken and assumed it was just a bad batch but after looking at the quality of these pegs, it's quite disappointing they sell this at this price, probably cost them less than a few bucks to manufacture.Going to try Dreambaby next

This gate is basically as advertised, but is not sturdy at all. The sections of the gate are held together by gravity, a wish and a prayer. There is a plastic piece on each end at the top and bottom, which slides into the hollow metal of the next part of the gate. The rotating parts are held together similarly, just by virtue of being one on top of the other. I had planned to send this back, but I am unable to find anything else which will fit the large area we need to gate, so I've gotten used to putting the gate back together any time it needs to be moved.

Works well for awkwardly large gaps - also works well for weird angles. Easy to install. First gate came to us damaged, but the return process was easy and a new gate came within 4 days.

Make sure you don't need an extension for the space before you order. The picture is misleading, and the contents contain 2 panels plus the gate door itself. Extensions for this model are hard to get, even direct from Carlson. Also, I suggest you use your own longer screws instead of the short screws provided, and install in to a wall stud. The drywall won't hold up on it's own, and the screws are too short to reach the stud.

BEWARE - The item is not as described. it is 72 cm wide not 72 inches. It is one panel not the multi-panel unit pictured.
