Eightwood Aluminum Electronic Project Box Enclosure Case Split Body DIY-4.72"(L) 3.82"(W)1.57"(H)

I needed a small case for a radio project I was working on. This case met the need perfectly. It fits together well. If there are any downsides, it is that the black iodized paint does scratch easy.

I bought 2 of these to house a couple of preamp boards , I finally got around to working on them, the board fit nicely in the integral slots furnished in the sides , they where 3/8in. To long so I cut them on my chopsaw down to size . They fit together nicely the screws self tapped into the cut end . Then I drilled holes for the knobs and rca jacks and used a hole saw to cut holes for the tubes , I think it looks great , quality product, I'm very happy with the way it turned out, Tim T

I used this to house an STC-1000 temperature controller for an aquarium heater. It was easy to work with and exactly the right size. Everything fit as expected from the drawings.

Great project case. The interlocking shell design is very functional, with one shallow and the other deep. I use the shallow side to mount the innards, while the deep shell enables them to be fully exposed for convenient access, only needing 2 screws removed.

Heavy duty aluminium box, matt black finish, easily machined etc.
