D-C-Fix Self-Adhesive Film, Glossy White, 17" X 78" Roll 346-0011 1

I’ve used this to turn my black dining dining table top into a nice white glossy finish. Easy to apply and durable!

Product sticks very well, however the layer is thin and any bump or discoloration you will see through, make sure the surface is smooth and equal in color! Otherwise recommended

Nice bright white and easy to apply

At first I was scared that it would be transparent (I bought the glossy white) but it is not at all ! It perfectly covered my dark brown bed frame. I started working at the left side then realized that I should start at the right side since it is my strong hand and it was really easy to remove without leaving any marks. Plus, it did not cause creases or line. There are a few really small lines here and there but it is not noticeable since it's a bed frame. It was much quicker and easier to apply than I had expected. I really recommand it and I would buy again.

Easy to apply

My wife managed to do it by herself to fix the big Ikea peeling off pullout cabinet panel. The film is made in Germany and adhered very well to the back of the panel. The small bubbles somehow settled and disappeared which leaves the panel beautifully resurfaced. Highly recommended.

This is actually our second purchase of the same item. We have previously bought the same item, to fix the shelf above our fridge that the lamination was coming off. It worked quite well. Fast Forward a year later. A few of our cabinet's lamination has cracked due to the adhesive getting old and starting to separate from its MFD board. We thought all laminations were the same, so we went to a local K-mart and bought a gloss white vinyl adhesive film in an attempt to fix our cabinet. BIG MISTAKE - The result turned out quite horribly - see the attached photo #3 - the white was like an A4 paper white, super sharp and an eye sore to the human eyes. The material is also quite inflexible to work with and not very sticky. Now going back to this DC-Fix Roll, if you are after a nice creamy gloss white vinyl adhesive roll, please look no further and get this already. It's made in Germany, the material is soft and flexible, easy to work with. One thing to note though, the roll only measures 45cm in width and 2 metres in length. I wish it did come in various width and length, but unfortunately, I was unable to locate one - it could be also to do with that since I've used this brand and knows it works well, and I did not want to try something else to end up the same as my K-mart failure. As you can see in the pictures I attached - I had to join two pieces of vinyl film together as closely as possible without overlapping, due to the cabinet width as longer than 45cm. From afar it looks pretty perfect since this is only a temporary fix before we eventually replace all the cabinet doors with another style, I was safe to say, that I am pretty happy with the outcome with the amount being spent, and the looks it has achieved. Now if people come and visit, they will no longer be staring at our broken cabinet! :D

I bought this ahead of moving into a new house and unfortunately missed the return period as it took me a while to settle in and prepare for renovations. I opened a pack today and tried to apply to a kitchen drawer and it was dreadful. Followed instructions, cleaned surface etc and it wouldn't stick at all. Now left with $150 of unusable product. Don't recommend.
