Excellent value, but it would be nice if they would improve their dropper
An excellent product for our lactose intolerant baby and toddler. We've used this for a couple of years. One drop is usually all it takes for a child. My wife takes four drops before consuming milk products. This product can also be added to milk to create lactose-free milk. According to one online source, 2 drops (or 1.35 drops if you can divide a drop :) ) added to 1 liter of milk, and refrigerated for 24 hours should reduce the lactose by about 70%. 5 (or 4.5) drops should reduce the lactose by 99%. This product does need to be refrigerated to maintain effectiveness. We have noticed that when we're approaching the end of the bottle sometimes it becomes completely ineffective. I assume we were probably not careful enough with keeping the bottle tip clean, and some foreign bacteria destroyed the effectiveness. It would be nice if they could improve their dropper. It can sometimes be really hard to get a drop out, especially when the bottle is nearly full. It seems to drop better as the bottle gets emptier.

Inexpensive and effective.
Worked for exactly what I wanted it for. My 2 month old was very gassy. Figured we would try this since my husband is lactose intolerant. She gets one drop in the morning and one at night and it is very effective in reducing the amount of gas she has. I know that actual lactose intolerance in infants is very very rare. All I can tell you is that this stuff works for her. Yes, itโs stupid slow to dispense. Just put a syringe to the nozzle and tip it upside down to draw a drop. Works great and is spill proof.

This used to be a 5 star product - now not sure if it's safe to even use!
A month ago I would have given these baby lactase drops 5 stars. They worked wonders for my baby and are the only reason I was able to keep breastfeeding. Then they were out of stock for a while and we had to try other lactase drops which left my baby gassy and cranky. I was so excited to see these back in stock in March, but when I opened the new bottle it stunk like rotten fish....I mean a really horrible smell when previous bottles had no odor at all. I thought maybe it was just a bad bottle, so I ordered another. Unfortunately, the second bottle has the same horrible smell. I am too afraid to put this in my baby's milk. Could it make her sick? I don't know what happened, or what is in these new bottles that smells like rotting fish but do not buy these lactase drops until they fix the problem!

Effective!
This product has been super effective with helping my baby adjust to milk. I tested a small drop and it taste sweet so it doesnโt make much of a flavor difference in his milk. I really enjoy this companyโs products in general. I would give them five stars on this product if it wasnโt extremely hard to get these drops out of the bottle. Itโs super slow trying to get just one drop to come out. Itโs suggested to keep it in the fridge so of course that makes it harder. For this product in particular I almost gave it three stars but because their customer service is awesome and quickly replaced a bottle that was originally sent accidentally busted openโฆ This bottle in particular gets four stars. The fact that the drops are hard to get out definitely makes it harder to use the product.

Great customer service
Bottle was defective. It was leaking and I was going through the drops way faster than I should have been. Contacted the company and they sent replacement. The responded so quick too. I was very happy with their service.

Worked great
I bought this in preparation for transitioning my son from formula to milk. I believe it made the transition smoother than it would have been without it.

Should come with ear muffs!
Was recommended by our pediatrician but didn't make a difference for us... main complaint is that the dropper bottle is terrible. It is a gravity feed type dropper which takes forever for the drops to come out. When my little man is balling his eyes out for food and I'm standing for 10 minutes waiting for a drop to come out it gets frustrating. When I try to expedite it by doing things like the ketcup bottle shake I end up missing the bottle 90% of the time. For me it just isn't worth it.
