Worked well. So nice to have tons of colors. It took about an hour or a little more to add the powder In all the bottles and time to put the labels on the bottles. Plan to assemble the labels and put the powdered dye in the night before your event. Then add the water just before your project. I do think it doesn’t make as many projects (we had 25 kids doing t shirts) I’m glad that last minute I bought another kit because the dye went quickly. We wetted the t shirts with a hose to dampen them and that worked really well. We also had baby powder to help the kids get their gloves on. We bought extra little aprons for the kids, glad we did that. It was a really fun project for the birthday party and then just had the kids take home the project in a bag that they wrote their names on. We purchased gallon ziplock bags and I’m glad we did that, the bags that come with the project are pretty small. Kept baby wipes handy. Baby oil got the rest of the dye off my hands because I didn’t wear gloves😂 I looked like a rainbow Smurf had exploded on my hands.

What an amazing kit with everything you need for a fun tie dye experience with kids. Two things that I didn't find in the instructions which might be helpful to others. 1- use all the powder when making the dye. It seems like the small bottles wouldn't haven't enough solution to make 36 things but you don't need to use a ton on the shirts so just mix the entire thing. I had half bottles left over after doing 2 adult shirts and 5 kids shirts. Some were full still. 2- the instructions for patterns comes in many languages which is great for global use, but it was hard to find the matching English instructions when you found a cool pattern. Stick to the English page or Google ways to make different tie dye patterns.Overall a great kit with ample supplies to keep your house clean and kids happy making fun colored shirts!

The instructions are great. I made several t shirts. If you follow the directions, they really do look amazing! I finished by soaking my shirts in a vinegar and water solution for a while before rinsing and then washing the first time. As the directions state, cotton takes the colors best. The size of the squeeze bottles for each color are small, probably enough for two to three shirts if you are also using other colors. For two adult shirts and two kids shirts I went through about 8-10 of the colors diluted as instructed. I have lots of other colors left for future projects! The colors I used were the brightest I could find in the pack. It was a bit difficult to make out the exact color matches, it it worked out fine. The little funnel to put the die in the squeeze bottles was very helpful so I didn’t spill any, just make sure the funnel is dry, as a tip. If you don’t use cotton, the colors will come out much more faded, but that can be cool too!

Overall it was a great kit! Although I did have a few issues. First off, the kit didn’t have great instructions. They didn’t say how much of the powder to use in order to get the color you are shooting for. I eventually found out from other reviews you use the whole packet for one small bottle or less to get pastel. I was able to achieve pastel by watering it down by half. Also, the bottles are pretty tiny! Sure they go a long way but I quickly ran out. My last complaint would be that the blue is really dark and it’s almost impossible to get a really nice bright blue, but it’s really not that big of a deal. And even though the bottles were small, I dyed 8 shirts and some socks. But even through all of that, I highly recommend this kit! My shirts turned out amazing either way. The value is also great.

Consider ordering a separate pastel or neon color box for a special twist of shade options. 2 Yellows came out super light- any other yellow color over what's included in this box might be the oomph we wanted to see here! :) but definitely recommend 👌comes fully loaded with all the things you could need to tye die. Just add 💧waterr to powder bottles and shake-up 😊

I feel like this is pretty misleading the colors have to be mixed since they come in a powder. I really wish the colors would just come made already. I do like how it comes with everything you need minus the shirts.

I bought 2 sets of these for my 2 sets of grandkids as an Easter present. I heard from both moms how incredible they were to use (youngest is 2 1/2 years) There were a LOT of colors so kids didn't have to wait (aka argue) to use them. The instructions and accessories were spot on (no pun intended) and saw kits in retail stores with a whole lot less for a whole lot more$$$$. The teenagers loved them especially!Glad I made this purchase! NOTE: the dye never bled while washing either!
