I received the item fast but it seems to be a prototype (which is even mentioned somewhere on the teapot or maybe not original, I wouldn’t mind as the price for a Bodum Teapress was very good but the filter rim is plastic instead of rubber and it was impossible for me to remove the lid ( I needed male help ) and also I couldn’t put it back. I have had 3 previous Bodum Teapresses and the lid is supposed to be rubber and all worked perfectly well. So I returned the item

Whole leaf tea without a big mess--yay!
This modern-looking teapot is perfect for steeping tea in the leaf. That is, it doesn't go on the burners. It does its job admirably: tea leaves go in a strainer, which does into the pot. Instead of a plain cover, there's a plunger--essentially this is a tea version of the coffee plunger method. Clever, simple, and makes wonderful tea that's brewed to the intensity you desire. Wonderful, useful gadget for tea aficionados. I make two full mugs in the morning in this teapot. Just two tsps of tea leaves yields a strong brew--and with minimal mess, no gunky tea, either. Highly recommended.

Théière sympa, système Bodum toujours performant
Nous devions remplacer une ancienne théière Bodum dont le très (trop) long bec verseur s'était cassée. Opté pour un design plus simple, mais élégant. Attention à préférer les modèles avec un filtre en inox, plus résistants et agréables à l'oeil. Système à piston toujours performant, et à privilégier d'autant que Bodum fabrique encore en Europe !

Pratique et robuste
Je possédais déjà une théière identique depuis de nombreuses années. Très pratique a l’usage et robuste à un usage intensif. Hélas cassée bêtement et aussitôt remplacée par le même modèle.

A cuppa full of taste-a
My horrible review headline aside, it's a good teapot. Feels well-built, plastic doesn't feels cheap at all. The mechanism is a bit cheap though and the "cap" proceeds to "fall down" when it shouldn't (so I just put it on a side), but overall it's good enough for 2 and a half cups of tea and you can reuse leaves afterwards for another 2 just fine. The handle is fine, the design is quite nice as well
