Aquasana Premium Borosilicate Glass Bottle with Designer Silicone Sleeve and BPA Free Lid with Stainless Steel Cover, 550ml, Plum

I bought this bottle and it looked new. Unfortunately as I was washing it and filling it up with water, I saw that the rubber sleeve was holding the broken glass together on the bottom. It didn't even seem broken from the touch. When I removed the rubber sleeve, the glass fell apart.I would caution buyers that if you get this product, make sure you check the bottom of the glass everytime before drinking it. For all you know, if it's broken, you can end up drinking the glass debris without even knowing it!

I bought this for my niece so she would have a sleeve to put over the other aquasana bottle she has. These bottles can take quite a beating and still not break even without the sleeve though. Because they are borosilicate glass, water still tastes fresh and clean.However, the silicon gasket in the lid comes out, which it shouldn't do, and that makes it harder to get the lid on correctly (though if it IS on correctly, absolutely nothing will leak out). It also sometimes stays around the rim of the glass when you take the lid off, and you have to push it back down into the lid.I have one of these bottles from a while ago and I didn't have any of these problems with mine. It seems that the quality control has gone downhill a bit, but overall, I still like these bottles.As a side note, when these bottles are really clean sometimes they squeak when you take the lid on or off, as lids often do. Just the slightest amount of virgin coconut oil smeared around the lid area will stop that. You may have to screw the cap on and off a couple of times to make sure it gets everywhere, but it will stop the squeak and you won't taste anthing.

I have had this water bottle for about 3 weeks and use it everyday. I haven’t dropped it because I try to be careful while transporting it about. We all know what happens when we drop something made out of glass. My expectations were low, which made it even more exciting when I received it and realized it’s thick glass and true to color! The inside of the lid is plastic with a silicone insert at the top to ensure no leakage. I have not experienced any leaks or issues with the lid. I also don’t throw it in my purse upside down or leaned against the side, just in case. Nothing will be 100% proof from leaks or breakage from dropping.

I purchased this bottle a number of months ago to use to store milk in the office refrigerator. In general, the bottle is good and fulfills that purpose well, but the cap, unfortunately, is of much lower quality than the rest of the bottle. The cap is essentially a plastic cap with a metal facade glued onto it. The problem is that whatever the manufacturers used to adhere the metal facade to the plastic cap failed pretty quickly such that the metal facade rotates while the plastic cap stays in place when I try to remove the cap from the bottle. I tried fixing the issue with some super glue, but the result was just an ugly smear on the cap without permanently fixing the problem.Having bought it, I will continue to use it until I can't get the cap to open anymore. I wish the cap was of higher quality.

I love this bottle. I hate drinking out of plastic bottles and i don't like how water tastes from a metal water bottle. I have been looking for a glass water bottle for some time. The only thing is that my normal scrub brush doesn't fit in the opening, so I just bought a smaller one that will. I love the silicone cover. I removes easily to wash it and it helps give the bottle grip and has helped me to not break the bottle when I drop it because I am pretty accident prone. Just remember, it is still glass so it is not indestructible so will break if you hit it just right as will all glass bottles. My husband even loves using it so I am going to buy him one as well. I love that it has many color options.

I really love this water bottle. It is very pretty, the color is accurate to the picture, and it does it's purpose, being a water bottle. I am a huge fan of glass water bottles. The only reason this is getting 3 stars is because not even a day after use the navy blue cover around the glass ripped. It was small at first but each time I open the water bottle the top of the cover moves around and the tear continues to grow sadly. Besides that I am very satisfied with the water bottle.

I've been using this water bottle for a couple of months now and it's great! I get lots of compliments on it at work. The only complaint I have is that the rubber ring inside the cap is tricky to get out and clean. I've noticed that there's some growth on it, but nothing a good soak in boiling water can't fix. I've also dropped it a few times and it hasn't even chipped thanks to the silicone sleeve. This is water bottle is a win for me and for the environment!

I really like the color and appearance of this bottle, but the metal cap is sometimes hard to remove. While I struggle to remove the cap, the silicone sleeve moves around a lot and it just seems sloppy. I do a lot of driving and removing the cap while I'm driving is harder than it should be. I wouldn't get this again.

Just as described. So far I have used it, it has been leak proof and I love my new bottles. I use it for water, smoothies, juice etc.

Ordered the bottle with sleeve and it arrived without the sleeve. Returned it and ordered another one and it was missing the sleeve again. Would never recommend..
