I bought this product in order to do away with a jumble of smaller extension cords that had resulted in a forest of twisted cables on the floor behind my media cabinet. I am very pleased with my purchase. Everything now looks a lot tidier with the electrical cords and plugs in a neat row. The unit looks and feels very solid, and the plugs are a tight fit into the sockets, which increases the impression of safety. I was particularly pleased that the unit has two isolator switches. I have been able to split equipment into two groups - one that can be fully switched off at night and one where things can remain on standby to receive software updates, for example, or where 24 hour power is otherwise necessary for normal operation. I am also pleased that the unit has surge protection, and this has already been useful as we had an overnight power outage not long after the unit was purchased and everything came back on without damage or problems. There is also the option of wall mounting the unit, although I am not currently using this option, but I may do so in the future. Overall I would highly recommend this product. It is entirely practical and it is an excellent solution for powering multiple pieces of equipment safely and tidily.

This is a well constructed extension socket, it's perfect for me because it has two switches which enables me to leave things like CCTV cameras, network switches etc permanently on and the other switch allows me to switch off devices that don't need to be on all the time, unfortunately I have only given it four stars because in my opinion it has a minor flaw and that is it is only supplied with one mounting bracket if you want to fix it to a wall, I did contact the company directly and they said unfortunately they cannot sell me a spare part in this country, don't let my comments put you off buying it,but you will have to find a way of fixing one side of the extension to the wall, I've done a temporary fix but will probably have to buy a couple of brackets for a more secure fix.

replacing a 12 socket (3 sided) tower that always managed to become a tangle of wire. Very pleased with this replacement and a lot easier to keep cables organised (under desk with computer and multiple monitors etc plugged in).After reading some negative feedback regarding sturdiness I was relieved with the construction.Really solid overall, with a little flex when twisted but this is sitting under a desk so not an issue.pros:- solid build (for a very long 12 plug extension socket)- switch lights subtly lighted (ie. no night time glaring leds)- sockets spaced widely so no trouble fitting oversize plugs- secure plug fitting...need a little extra push on plugging in, giving a nice tight connection- 12 sockets in a straight line!cons:- couple of blank gaps (might be needed for internal wiring?)so, for size and build quality, this is a bargain...can't remember any time other time in my life when I've been quite so excited about a new extension lead.

Ordered two of these, and they are fantastic! One is bolted along the underside of my desk - finally I no longer have loads of power cables going to the floor. Everything is neatly cabled, wired, and tidied away. The other is running a bank of equipment. Had these for well over 6 months, no issues, really decent build, nice an chunky. If you have a mess of power cables under you desk, get one of these, and bolt it to the underside.Only downside is that they only come with a clip/mount at one end. Luckily as I had ordered two units, I took the mount off of one of them, and combined it with the other - allowing me to bolt one strip under my desk with mounts at both ends.I have an electronic sit stand desk, and this is a godsend for keeping things neat and tidy.

Can not recommend this enough. Like a lot of us I'm working from home a lot now and as a result I have both home and office equipment on my desk. As a result I have been 8 devices that need power. The usual extension leads providing 8+ sockets have several rows or are upright. I find that with many sockets now having transformers integrated into the plug I end up being unable to use all the sockets for those with several rows and the free standing ones are just messy.As I will shortly be changing desks I fixed this temporarily, but securely with just two cable ties. There is ample space between each sockets and separate switching on two groups of sockets so that some may be turned off. This extension also has a 3m cable, a welcome change from some extensions which just come with 1m. a great product, at a reasonable price.
