Im very pleased with these olives. The inside screen lid held the olives down in the brine good, but was a bear to get out.

If you like black olives, this is the way to buy them. They are wonderful. I broke the large jug down into 16-oz mason jars, added garlic, lemon, and EVOO (I don't really like the vinegar taste). I shared one with a friend; the rest are for us. Yum!

I've been buying this brand for about two and a half years. My previous rating was a 4 but i mentioned quit a few olives still had their pits in them. Not good with crowns on teeth.. The last time I purchased in March 2025 it was extremely bitter and reaked of vinegar when I opened it. They were terrible and enedible, the taste was so vinegary, I had to throw them away. I found a local distributor but now I can't seem to get them because they're selling out. I want to try this one again. But I'm afraid I will get the same batch I got in march.

I've purchased this item in the past. This one leaked all over the inside of the box. Since it's olives, this was not a heart stopping occurance; however, since it was shipped together with a toxic item, there are some concerns.
