which one of the many maui jim sunglasses are the best? lenses material?

I’ve owned several pairs. The lenses are all unbelievable quality, depending on your vision (whether you see better with a grey lens, amber lens, blue lenses, etc). I prefer the the hard frames vs. wire (aviator type), as I’m a bit tough on my shades. I absolutely love them and haven’t bought em anything else in over 15 yrs!

what is the frame width?

Aloha! Authentic Honi Maui Jim Sunglasses will feature a 126mm width! Mahalo!

What is the difference as far as clarity one color mirror over another?

Aloha, Kathleen! We are happy to hear you are interested in the Honi sunglasses! For all the lens colors listed above the clarity would be the same as they all feature our SuperThin Glass lens material. The difference would be the color when looking through them. You can see the view through each lens on our technology page on the Maui Jim website! Please let us know if you have any further questions, we are always happy to help. Mahalo!

Are the lenses the same quality on all maui jim glasses. i’m wayyy more comfortable with my husbands maui jim sunglasses than with mine

Aloha! Thank you for your question! While all of our lenses are up to the same quality standard, there are different materials and finishes depending on the style! We'd recommend reaching out to our customer care team directly for assistance with identifying the exact combination on the two styles you have currently to assist with some insight! https://support.mauijim.com/hc/en-us
