Barbie Fashionistas Doll #142 with Blonde Updo Hair & Shimmery Plaid Dress GHW56

This Fashionista Barbie is beautiful in her simplicity. Her blonde top bun is fashionable and her punk/gold plaid fringed jumper is sweet and contemporary. Her platform runners and hooped earrings give her a youthful, yet sophisticated appearance. She was a good value for my money, her clothes are well made and she arrived in a timely manner. I originally bought her as a gift but I like her so much that I've decided to keep her in my collection.

I had stayed away from typical blonde blue eyed Barbies for my grandaughter as I was trying to make a more diverse collection for her, however, she spotted this little lady and asked if she could have her. This doll is very pretty in the "Typical Barbie" sense, however, she is kind of edgy too. The little golden tartan pinafore is very cute, as is the whit tee shirt. I am impressed by her lovely bun hair style, but, I think a smaller child may just tear this style out and it will be impossible to re create! So, my advise is if she is for a collector or an older child- go for it- if for a little one- then go for one a bit more basic.
