On an ipod touch its from the bottom of the screen (top of the round button) to the top of the ipod. Its about 3/4 of the width of the ipod touch. Or exact measurements would be 3 5/8 inches from top to bottom and 1 5/8 inches from the two sleeves of the jacket (since the jacket sleeves stick out wider than the body) from left to right. I hope this can help you.
