I wasn't sure if I needed the puller. Glad I got it as the arms were stuck on there good. Worked just like it was supposed to.so if your on the fence just get the puller.

Perfect fit for Easter on sea hunt boat

My SeaStar seals were really tight and I was afraid to break or damage the wrench provided so I used a large channellock wrench to break it loose. The rest was really easy.

Started leaking a few days after install. The tools are good to have but the seals are not good.

The new seals have fixed the leak I had been experiencing with the Seastar steering system. Four months now with no leakage. However, the white plastic sleeve to get the new seals to align with the steering shaft was too big. In my case, I was able to get the new seals on the steering shaft without using this plastic sleeve. This was possible because the end of the steering shaft is rounded off - not creating a problem when I slid on the new seals. I took off one star for the misfit of the plastic sleeve.

Worked perfectly and was very easy to install. Cost was half if not more less than boat shops.

Can not say how long it will last but appears it will last for anytime I need it in the future. It definitely made the job go a lot quicker than I expected. Not the first owner of this boat and did not know how hard it would be to accomplish changing the seals. Would recommend this product.

The seals and puller worked perfectly, however the spanner wrench did not hold up when I tried to remove the old seals.
