Best product for tough tangles. Since using this I have tossed every other product out. Nothing else compares to the job it does detangling my child's hair. I wish it was a bit cheaper but I'll pay whatever price it is knowing how good it works

I was slight skeptic about this deep conditioner due to the only bad review it has received previously. However, I was already very happy with the leave-in conditioner from mixed chicks, and I decided to try the whole line. I am currently using from shampoo to leave-in, and I am extremely satisfied with the results. I have very dry and voluminous 3b/3c curls, with Jewish, African and Portuguese origins, and the mixed chicks line works perfectly for me! This deep conditioner is very good, but you should keep in mind that you must rinse right after application. As a matter of fact, if has some alcohol compounds in the ingredients, which is very helpful for easy disentangling, however it should not stay for long time in your hair otherwise it may stress and dry the curls. This is described in the application instructions, so, the product works perfectly as long as you follow the given instructions of use.

I have extremely tangled hair and I've tried lots of conditioners over the years to try to get a brush through it to no avail! This is the first conditioner I've tried where when you put it on you're just able to slide the knots out with a comb. It makes your hair feel very smooth and sleek. Knots where before I'd think there's no chance of getting through I can now think yes I can do this! Pros: - Thick formula that soaks into hair nicely - a little goes a long way (I've had mine for 2 months and I'm only hslg way through the product (I have knee length hair and use this from my ears down)). - Helps smooth out even stubborn knots in the hair - Hair feels smooth and looks shiny. Cons: - Some people mentioned a chemical type smell, and it's definitely not anything like a perfume so be prepared for that! The smell is a little like cleaning solutions but I didn't mind this at all.
