Does this ironing mat contain ptfe/teflon? (we avoid using teflon in our home.)

Product tag lists materials as polyester & cotton. Outside shell is 80% polyester + 20% cotton, inner filling is 100% polyester.

Does the quilted material leave patterns marks on the item being ironed?

I really don't know. I bought it primarily to protect my washer and dryer. I have an ironing board that pulls out of a drawer. However it does have a pretty dominant diamond pattern and I could see how it would leave some marks. Sorry I don't have a better answer for you

Does it sweat underneath ot after using steam? I have a different brand and I have been placing a towel underneath it to prevent moisture damage.

I've used it with my steam iron and didn't notice any sweating but I used it on a bed and not on an appliance.

So this can be used on a table or on a plastic tray?

A table yes, i don't know about a plastic tray. I dislike it because it melted as soon as my iron went over the edge of the shirt i was ironing and touched the pad. It works ok on a table if covered by a cloth
