Blade lasted for 2+ years in a mitre saw cutting everything I threw at it - steel, stainless, aluminum, plastics, nail embedded wood. Lazily used the one blade for everything. Really smooth cuts in steel with minimal heat and sparking. When I finally wore it out, it owed me nothing, and I bought another.

Cut 3/16” plate steel quickly, cleanly and with no smoke or slag. Cut thin walled tubing like butter. It makes a lot of very sharp little chips you have to watch out for. You should have a hood of some kind as well as a face mask and goggles. Feed rate is very important too. Don’t over feed in the cut. Slow and steady feed will still cut faster than most any other method. And did I mention cleaner, too.? Also. Be aware that dirt, concrete, scale, etc. needs to be cleaned off the material you’re cutting or it will significantly shorten the life of the blade.
