Excellent first impression!
I recently treated myself to a new epicurean board and decided to also buy this board butter for my older epicurean boards. Boy does this make a good first impression! The board butter is a smooth spreadable solid similar to coconut oil. It is a combo of beeswax and mineral oil. No funky smells or funny ingredients! It smells like honey! I used the included applicator and spread this on my two older boards (~3 & 5 years old) and let it sit. Directions didn’t specify so I went both left and right as well as small circles when applying to make sure I really got product in all the line marks. I used a paper towel after a while and removed the excess. They look like new!Only (super minor) negative is I suspect the board butter will outlast the applicator.

Works well
This stuff is great. Really cleans up my board (also from Epicurean) and has a very mild, but pleasant smell. Goes on easy with the sponge that's included, and doesn't leave any residue. A must have if you live in a dry climate especially. Well worth the price to keep your cutting board looking good.
