I think it means Ships In Own Container. That means they put a label on the actual retail box and ship it. They don't first put it in an Amazon box. Sorry that the previous responder is a dick.

To my knowledge it is all plastic similar to all the “black series” helmets. It’s not particularly flimsy but it isn’t heavy duty either. It is suitable for display or occasional costume use (IMHO).

The actually quality of the plastic helmet is great. Just disappointed the voice changer didn't work properly. Got the Kylo Ren version and the voice changer is amazing. Wish it were the same for the storm trooper helmet.
