Beautiful box. Well made. However, in order to see the correct dimensions, you have to read the item details. Summary states box is 12x 8x 5. Actual dimensions are 11” Long x 8” Long and 4.5”. This is stated in the item detail, which I only read after I realized the box was smaller than what I thought I ordered. Probably would not have ordered it at the actual size. Thought about returning it, but it is nice, and well made, so I will find a use for it.

I bought several of these boxes. I do like the strength. Unfortunately the colors are variable. Brown is often very cherry wood red and not brown.

I ordered the Wooden Storage Box for Home - Large Wood Stash Box - Dark Brown Storage Box with lid while planning my father's memorial to use as the Remembrance piece for the ritual. He was a USNavy veteran, a Merchant Marine, a musician, chef, bartender, and very stylish as well as a charismatic presence! The box I chose is perfect to represent his classic style. But. The 1st box came with a crack along the bottom that reached about 1/3 of the way across. I thought, okay... It's a fluke, right? Re-ordered. The 2nd box came completely cracked end-to-end across the whole bottom. Like, you can see light through the crack as well as move the wood with very little effort. Needless to say, that one was returned the very next day. I was afraid to try again BUT the company, Blake & Lake reached out to me personally! Awesome response & customer service!! It is so refreshing to still find this type of personal care from companies & especially during this difficult time I'm having to walk through. Thank you Blake & Lake!

For several years I've came back to this specific box not only for its value but the ease by which I can customize them for the people in my life. These make great gifts especially when wood burned or otherwise decorated with crafting supplies such as hot glue as an adhesive for coins, etc. Excellent quality and beautifully made.

First off I was totally in love as soon as I opened the box and looked inside. This is an absolute beautiful piece of art work. It is very roomy and can hold a ton of stuff including a few ounces with other stuff easy! I keep mine in my mini safe and it fits perfect! People might complain that there is just one big empty box but if you want compartments that bad boo-hoo you can make your own with cardboard or something stronger and divide sections. I highly recommend this product and think it would look beautiful in anyones room. Oh and the other cool, blow your mind, crazy thing is that you can flip the lid of the box over and its a rolling tray. WTF!!!! Please go buy it right now. Its not even expensive for the quality!
