Nice strong pigmented ink, love using them in word searches, the pink one does fade to a very pale pink after about 2 weeks of being on paper, that is the only color I have found fades at all, let alone that dramatically. Otherwise I have had no issues with these, does exactly what you need it to, no smudging, great value variety box and getting 3 of each color allowed me to keep 1 of each color at home, at work and give a whole set the coworkers.

I didn't buy these to create signs or posters. I bought them to highlight invoices and repair orders. . .to draw attention to a selected area. . .like what they were invented/marketed for.If you are wanting something for the purpose I listed that I bought these for, I can suggest none better that I've tried. These are long-lasting, good quality, with bold color. It adds a sharp brightness to black and white, and draws across standard (or better) weight paper with ease and smoothness.

In my first year of law school, I was flying through the pen-sized highlighters. After purchasing these, I think I’ve only emptied one or two. I’ve noticed that the colors go on very vibrant but fade quickly (within minutes). I don’t personally care but if this is a big deal for you, you’ve been warned. I also wish they dried a bit quicker. I’m using them on slightly glossy textbook paper so perhaps that’s not a fair test but I still find myself waiting to turn the page for fear of smear/transfer. Overall, I like these highlighters and will buy them again.

I use a lot of markers, preferring to highlight most of the passages rather than take valuable time to scribble notes. Because I work at different times in different rooms, I have a couple of these in each spot (plus some in the car and the pockets of whatever jackets I am using most. I purchased the large packet, not because they run out of ink quickly, but because of my desire to not have to search for one when I need it (there are other people in the household, so it is not uncommon for someone to borrow one).Speaking of ink, out of all the brands I have tried, Sharpie has been the best in terms of having the most ink, thus usable for a longer period of time. Additionally, I cannot remember ever grabbing a Sharpie and finding a never-used highlighter that was dry. I like the bright background achieved by using the yellow highlighters. Five stars,
