I didn't buy these to create signs or posters. I bought them to highlight invoices and repair orders. . .to draw attention to a selected area. . .like what they were invented/marketed for. If you are wanting something for the purpose I listed that I bought these for, I can suggest none better that I've tried. These are long-lasting, good quality, with bold color. It adds a sharp brightness to black and white, and draws across standard (or better) weight paper with ease and smoothness.

I got these at a great deal. Less than 50 cents each. Long lasting and you can still read what you highlight. Unlike cheaper brands, with darker ink, that are more like markers.

In my first year of law school, I was flying through the pen-sized highlighters. After purchasing these, I think I’ve only emptied one or two. I’ve noticed that the colors go on very vibrant but fade quickly (within minutes). I don’t personally care but if this is a big deal for you, you’ve been warned. I also wish they dried a bit quicker. I’m using them on slightly glossy textbook paper so perhaps that’s not a fair test but I still find myself waiting to turn the page for fear of smear/transfer. Overall, I like these highlighters and will buy them again.
