This little thing is screaming!!! I’ve noticed that a lot of people have said that it doesn’t put out much bass. Well in a way it’s true if you’re just installing these speakers without a subwoofer. At the same time they do flex a little but you need to connect them to an additional amp and not just to your car stereo, to get the sound these babies are made for! But if you are putting this/these type of speakers with a big subwoofer which is my case, then this speakers are ideal and put out just enough bass when turned up high not to interfere with the bass that your subwoofer will produce. Because if you have a subwoofer installed with door speakers that trying to bump at the same time, then it sound like crap. This speaker puts out the exact amount of bass that I needed which won’t make the whole system sound bad when I have the subwoofer installed, I’m still working on box for the new subwoofer. But from my experience I can Already tell that it will sound awesome! I’ll try to load some videos of before and after as well as pictures. And of the Decibel reader that I have, but it reads only up to 130db and with this new speaker it kept saying overload or something like that 😂 If you have a dedicated amp for them then don’t overload them from the beginning like I did by mistake, need to brake them In for a few days first. It got stinky in my case for a little while but it didn’t burn out. Pros: 1. Very loud and crisp 2. Good build quality Cons: 1. 30 minutes later I still got a headache after running some test lol 😂 Edit: unfortunately Amazon let me load only one vid so I loaded the one of the new speaker. You cannot really see it flexing on the video but it does flex a little!

Sounds good for a speaker even above this price point. I was looking for something specific for a particular OEM speaker box in my Lexus and this one didn't fit the parameters but not because it lacks anything. I wouldn't hesitate to buy more of these if they fit my application better. First DS18 product so I am definitely checking them out now that I know that they are truly a contender. I can't wait to try out more of their products.

This speakers r the best in the world is always buy them for every car I have i have 4 in the doors from before and now I bought 4 more to arm this speaker box only that I got 1 first wich was an 8" by mistake wich i have to return to get the other 6.5 to finish my speaker box for this

10 out of 10 was alittle iffy on them as I hadn't heard of ds18 but very well built speakers very loud

Excelente me encantó el poder y definición, los dejé sin graves con un HPF del amplificador ya qué a volumen alto llegaba a distorsionar , pero sin duda son gran opción los volvería a comprar.

Installed on my HD Stree glide the speker sound was great.
