The media could not be loaded.  This portable workout mat is great for jump rope or other exercises. I use it for both and feel like I have enough room on the mat. For any other jumpers out there, I was able to do a variety of moves (side swings, squat jumps, 360s, etc) all on this mat without my rope touching the concrete. The mat is light in weight and comes with straps and a carry case that make it easier to transport. The material feels durable and I think it will last a long time. Would recommend it if you’re looking for a portable workout mat.

This mini mat is the perfect solution it protects your ropes & joints in a compact size. Lightweight it's super portable & has just the right amount of cushion at 6mm there's no weird rope rebound & my bounding is not adversely affected.Remember your rope game does not require a gym!! The size is nice vs a yoga mat as you don’t need all the extra space. The bag it came in was a nice idea but came apart at the seam within a week.The mat itself got the wear mark in the picture pretty fast, though it doesn’t seem to be getting much worse as time is going on.This has been used primarily with the Rush Athletic weighted jump rope with the length based on Rush Athletics sizing videos and occasionally an RPM speed rope.Cautiously recommend

I love that it’s the perfect size to jump rope on and the durability and thickness makes for the perfect travel mat! I received mine for Christmas and it’s my most favorite gift

The Rush Athletic Jump Rope Mat seems a bit costly given its diminutive dimensions. And the mat provides a confined exercise space that limits full extension of jump rope maneuvers.

Saves my jump rope from tearing

My has been absolutely love this Mat, while jumping rope he was having knee problems/ soreness. Now that he has the mat he is able to exercise more by cushioning in the blow.

Ok but to thin for jump raping

I did not find the smaller size of this mat a problem. It’s bigger than you think and you can position yourself at the rear when jumping rope. Thickness is very good as is the cushioning as I use it on cement patio stones. Would recommend and would buy again. It has a nice texture that is non slip that is a plus as well.

Update after frequent use: it does move slightly on my carpet when I’m landing. If, like me, you look down as you jump, it can be very off putting to your rhythm when you see the mat move usually ending the skip count. I’ve started jumping on the carpet now so not sure I’d buy it again.I’d advise against rolling it up as it won’t sit completely flat even with its under gripped surface.Perfect for skipping.Moves very slightly when skipping.Easy to clean sweat drips. If there’s no sweat, you’re not working hard enough.Expensive.Protects against impact on feet.Recommended if you’ve the money.

Portability: 1/5 . It won't lay flat if you plan to pack and roll it up to go somewhere else so the rope gets caught by the edges or corner. The carry bag only opens from one end, there is no zipper to open lengthwise for easy packing which makes the portability of this item useless. I plan to go outside to jump when weather is goodPracticality: 2/5 I don't see how getting a generic mat for way cheaper, cut it to size. Okay I’ve only used it once so far BUT I feel like they could have made this mat slightly longer. I know they say it’s the size it is to encourage correct jump rope length but that sounds a bit like a scam to not spend the dough to make it a comfortable size.I’ve been jumping rope 5x a week for the past 3 years and I think I’ll just stick to jumping on the pavement cuz my rope (that is actually correctly size for me lol) gets caught on the edge of the mat and messes up my jumps.I’m disappointed because I was hoping for a mat that helped me keep my ropes (crossropes) in better condition for longer since I go through so many of the lighter (1/4lb and 1/2lb) ropes because of jumping in the asphalt.
