Not exactly what I expected. Helps but does not evidently have any lidocaine in it.

After reading some other reviews, I find that my experience has been a little different from some of the complaints I have read.1. Yes it does spray upside-down2. Using it upside-down, while sitting on the toilet, is indeed awkward, but it is possible to hit the desired areaMy reason for giving only three starts is that I'm not sure how effective it really is.It doesn't provide any sort of instant cooling relief, which is what I was hoping for.Instead, it seems like just another way to apply with hazel + phenylephrine to the area, while minimizing rubbing or abrasive contact with wipes.That's a good thing I suppose. It's just not the miracle product I was hoping it might be.Also I feel that a significant amount of the spray is lost to areas that you weren't intending to apply it. It feels slightly wasteful.
