It could. You will have to get the right spot. If your capable, removing the door hing & making sure the contact surfaces were greased well.

What surfaces does this effectively lubricate?

Any type of metal,any type of hinge,any type of bushing or sliding mechanism. Wood,plastic,most anything. I like that it doesn't attract dirt or dust like most lubricants. For the price I would give it a try! I have several cans of it I keep in my house and shop.

Can you use this product on RV slideouts?

You can use it on any item that you do not want dust and dirt to be attracted to. This product does not attract dirt like oil based products do.
