Cheap, fragile little thing.. But for that price, buy two of'em! One for you and the other for Mr Justin Case. .."Just in case" the other fellow wants to engage in some competitive flying.. ;-) The connection to an Android device can be challenging, but once set up, it shoots adequate quality video and photos. My only complaint is that the weather rarely cooperates; the slightest breeze knocks this thing way off course. But heck.. It's a whole lott'a fun with very minimal investment. IMO, with the blade guards on, it's even safe (enough) for kids!

I like this toy. Let’s call it a toy. I bought two for small children and they had fun playing with them, so did I however, they aren’t so sturdy. The price isn’t that bad so I guess that’s what you expect. It can be connected to your phone and u see the videos but don’t expect any good quality. This would be ideal for kids below about 9 years old.

Work for neighborhood watch on the road

Not beginner friendly. Lop-sided take offs. No vertical hover feature. Could not get video to sync with drone. We had hoped the remote control with phone clip would perfectly be fun for the kids. The kids were frustrated, so were the parents. Any subtle bumps into walls or furniture and the spinning blades would pop off. I don’t believe this was a beginner drone we hoped it would be. It was a good price for everything the description promised. But the drone and remote did not preform. Sorry. We have already returned our orders.

This has been a really great drone for my son. He purchased it with birthday money from his 7th birthday this summer. He currently needs more propellers, bc he’s 7 and he crashes it a fair amount. And the guards are cracked now, but still there and balanced enough to fly just fine. So aside from a need to purchase some replacement parts bc he’s really too young for a drone like this, this has been fantastic, waiting for a response from the seller about that. It pairs well with my iPhone SE. the holder on the remote holds my phone well so long as it comes out of the case. I have a pop socket that gets in the way, not the fault of the maker. And the camera function is really helpful for identifying where in the yard he lost the darn thing! My only true complaint is somewhat minor; the case is really nice, but only holds the drone disassembled. I’d happily pay a few more bucks for a case that accommodates the assembled drone! We are not taking the guards and such off every time he puts it away. That would be a pain.

This little drone is perfect for kids and beginners like me. It was easy to set up, and the controls are simple to learn. The camera quality is decent for the price, and I love that it comes with three batteries—more flying time! The return-to-home feature and altitude hold work well. Fun for the whole family!

This is a great little drone for practicing inside. I can't stress enough. Flying this done outside is risky. It has powerful little motors on it and can get away from you easily (lesson learned). Other than that it's a great little practice drone for anyone interested in learning to fly drones as a hobby or if you want to take it further. The cameras are great for the price. Expect a slight delay when switching the front and bottom camera. The app is easy to navigate. Be mindful of the size of the phone you use for FPV flying because it may interfere with the controls (once again lesson learned).

Wanted to get more batteries and a backup drone for the one I already have, but unfortunately the battery is not compatible with my older drone - I can fit it in with a little bit of resistance, but after turning on the drone it flashes and not calibrating or flying, showing that the battery is empty. The same battery works fine and for quite a long time on the newer model to which it belongs. The older 4DRC PRO app can't connect to the newer drone, but the new app 4D FLY often crashes or is loading for too long. The video is choppy, often pauses or the app stops to react to your input - couldn't stop recording, for example, needed to terminate the app instead. The drone is drifting left and forward, so needs a constant adjustment to stay in one place for a while, so it's difficult to make a good video or pictures of a place/object you want. But it's OK for just learning how to fly the drone - plenty of practice to use the controller. One good feature: when battery is low first the drone's lights start to flash and next it's just automatically lands and turns the motors off. (Just be sure it's not above the water when the battery goes low). A bit disappointed by the quality of a new app and a lack of compatibility with the older model.
