Ortho Home Defense Fly Killer Window Decal, 4 Pack

Product is great and lasts a long time. Use them on windows where bugs tend to congregate. Flies seem to always enjoy one window and these get rid of them.

Every summer flies invade our home thru an open door that the kids leave open too long. One year I couldn't kill the flies fast enough so I started using Ortho Home Defense Fly Killer. That was 4 years ago and have been very pleased ever since. I'll put 2 decals in our home in mid Spring, one in each of the windows that the flies tend to go to most often. The flies will typically find the fly killer in one hour or less and once they do, they are dead in under a minute. I just vacuum up the dead flies when needed. The fly killer will last the rest of the year. No more fly problems.

These window decal pest , fly, killers work! This is the third summer we have used these and they continue to be effective. They do not work instantly, but once the fly takes a taste of whatever is on the decal, they usually slow up and die in about 30 minutes or so.

I’m not sure why there are all these raving reviews, but so far I cannot concur.We just moved to Oklahoma and I have no idea how all these flies have ended up in the house.I just received two packs of this product, 4 stickers. First I have to say that applying them sounds easy. However, there are two decals on each sheet, but the sheets aren’t cut or even scored. Second, there are no prepped corner to start to peel off the first backing, and every time the decals stick onto backing that is supposed to be removed. So after making tears in the middle of the backing paper edge and some skillful and careful peeling I was able to apply the decals. I watched as two flies went on the decals. It says they are supposed to die within one minute. Each fly stayed on the decal for several seconds 10-20 at least. I watched and watched and counted….both flew away after more than a minute.These are made by Ortho, a name brand and so I had great faith and hope in them, and willing to pay the HIGH price. However I have been let down and feel I just paid a lot for nothing….

First of all, this product works really well for me. Fly wait at my door and rush in every time I open it however they don't last long as they are attracted by these stickers and eat the poison on them. It appears to work quickly as I find dead flies on my window sills beneath the stickers. I applied the stickers up high so I have absolutely no issues with kids or others touching them, and they seem to last longer than stated. I don't know why all local stores no longer sell them...To apply them, I found that the easiest way is to actually cut the internal sheet of 2 stickers in half (between the stickers) so that you can lift the back on an edge without removing the front cover which prevents you from touching the toxic side. I just peal back one side, align, stick, pull the rest of the backing off and once fully applied I remove the top protective layer.My only gripe is not with the product but this product listing... IT IS NOT A 4 PACK!Yes, the single packet has 2 stickers in it, but the traditional sense of "4 PACK", at least for me, means 4 packets with 2 stickers each. Would you call 2 boxes of saltine crackers each with 4 packets inside an "8 PACK"??
