I use these magnets all the time for my modeling hobbies. I work on a lot of scale models and model railroad projects, and finding the right size magnets with enough strength can be a challenge, but these are perfect. I usually buy the combo pack (3x1, 4x2, 5x2) and have found some use for every single size. The strength for my use is perfect, even the tiny 3x1mm ones are surprisingly strong and are perfect for magnetizing small fiddly parts on my models. The price is great for the quantity you get. I like that they come in a small little plastic case. A great bonus for keeping these tiny things organized and not losing them to the “carpet monster”. If you're a modeler of any kind, I highly recommend picking these up. They're strong, versatile, and a great value.

Used these and some Gorilla glue to turn some decorative tins into makeup palettes. These little things are very strong! Zero issues with them not being strong enough to hold everything in place, it takes a little effort to move them around. Very happy!

These magnets are a great size for miniature war gaming pieces. Perfect for rotating turrets in tanks, moving arms and legs and a host of other attachments that you want to be able to remove or rotate. They are too big for miniature humanoid figures but the 4x2mm works for table top war games like Battletech, Warhammer machines and more. The attraction of these magnets is amazing. Using the large magnet to keep polarity correct in all your miniatures is a very handy device and works well. For miniature figurines I would go with the 1x2mm or 1x3mm magnets for rotating arms and such. Glad I bought them. Perfect for what I’m use them for.

Bought this to create a magnetic bit holder for the SAK Cybertool driver. I can confirm the 4x2mm magnet works great. Don’t need any adhesive or glue, just drop it in and the magnetic force keeps it in place within the cybertool driver. It creates enough magnetic pull to keep the bits in place perfectly. The 4x2mm size also is thin enough that with a bit in place the driver still folds perfectly. Quick tip, if you want to remove the magnet just insert the stack of 4x2mm into the driver and it’ll pull the single magnet out without issue. I was afraid the stack would get stuck in the driver but I’m happy to report that didn’t occur. Quick tip #2, place 1-3 of the 5x2 onto the inner flat part of the driver shaft and you’ll always have a few magnets to use for whatever needs you may have. Now the reason for 4 stars is the 3x1mm magnets are kinda useless. They are tiny and have weak magnetic force. I can’t think of any use for them unless you have very specific needs for that size. All in all happy with my purchase. I had very specific needs for it and it worked perfectly for the SAK Cybertool.

Strong magnets but very tiny

These are just fine. They work just fine. I don't have any issues with them. I'm going to check the dimensions and the strength on all of them and if there are any issues I'll come back and update this but at the moment everything seems to be in order

While small, these 8 mm x 2 mm magnets are proportionally strong and well suited to craft applications, holding art or info onto refrigerators or steel whiteboards, holding removable trim, and in particular, incorporating into multi-part 3D models. They arrived quickly, with none broken because they were well packaged. Actual measured size for the batch I received was 7.99 mm x 1.96 mm, close enough for anything I'm anticipating. FWIW, you can get stronger magnets but they come with a larger diameter or taller height. I choose these because they are stronger than the 6 mm x 2 mm magnets that are often seen in printable object designs, yet still fit a shallow hole so objects designed for them stay in scale. Caveat: I've only used in one project so far; I found they worked perfectly. I glued them into ABS with super glue (each flush with the surface per the CAD designed holes), and they are holding better than expected.

Use these when I turn pins into magnets. Very strong and a great variety of sizes!
