Yes, you should put it on dry skin and wait a few moment for it to dry before you apply your moisturizer so you give this product a chance to penetrate and be more effective.

I had terrible back acne. I use this product after using the body scrub to exfoliate, using a scrub brush and a small amount of scrub. When combined with the right topical meds, I reduced my acne by 90%. Sometimes deep cysts appear, but even those have been greatly reduced. The answer is YES. In time scars will vanish and new colonies of pimples and cysts will reduce or go away. However, it took months for this to work. I use an applicator to get this on my back (spraying to the applicator, then applying). I alternate this product with another one that has 2% salicylic acid and use it daily. This will not get rid of keloid scaring, only the red scaring from acne over time. Try to find the right topicals as well. I combine 10% benzoil peroxide cream with retin a. I do the latter under the supervision of my dermatologist. Other topical meds are an option as well. Whatever you do, do not pick or pop. Let the acne resolve with the meds and give this time to work. You will need at least 90 days of daily use to see if this helps. For me the real results came between 90 days and six months. Does this stain clothes or towels like some salicylic products do?

I have gray towels, don’t recall it staining. It didn’t work for me.
